Aleppo Deja Vu ; Troisième partie

Let’s start today, where yesterday ended. The remake of the ME/NA region has been done to interfere or impede the Belt and Road project. And, control the World Island- I’m not going too much down that road today except to state simply this being done so Pax Americana can keep it’s hold globally.

Tal Rifat

The town is Tal RifatTurkish-backed rebels also captured Tal Rifat, which lies to the north of Aleppo, in a blow to US-allied Kurdish forces who have been holding the town”

When we read the Bloomberg quote “Turkish rebels also captured Tal Rifat which lies to the north of Aleppo”. We can interpret that a couple of ways- I’m taking that to mean Turkish backed rebels captured Tal Rifat. While other rebels, supported by other parties, took other towns or sections of towns. Because this is how I understand what is ongoing in Syria based on what has gone on in Syria.

Turkiye rejects baseless claims

On the Syrian National Army’s (SNA) capture of Tal Rifaat, Çelik said relevant parties failed to expel the terrorist group from Tal Rifaat and this posed a threat to Türkiye. “The regime invited terrorist groups to places it abandoned. This lays bare the cooperation between the Assad regime and terrorist groups. We don’t want terrorist groups in Tal Rifaat and Manbij,” he said, referring to hotbeds of PKK/YPG activity.

Turkey is acknowledging they entered this town- and PKK terrorists were moved out. There were reports of buses transporting people from this area towards the American/PKK occupation zone. It would seem SAA cooperated, which suggests coordination on some level between Syria and Turkey.

Operation Dawn of Freedom

Operation Dawn of Freedom began after armed opposition groups launched an offensive against the city of Aleppo on Nov. 27.

The PKK/YPG, bolstered by additional forces from eastern Syria, began fortifying these areas.

Turkish media is reporting that PKK/YPG and additional forces began an offensive against Aleppo.

To counter the PKK/YPG’s move to establish a terrorist corridor between Tal Rifaat and Manbij, the SNA initiated Operation Dawn of Freedom.

Following the siege of Tal Rifaat, the town center was liberated from terrorist control.

With full control over the town center, search and clearance operations are ongoing.

The operations are expected to continue due to the presence of numerous tunnels and heavily mined areas.

PKK/YPG terrorists, forced to retreat from the center, fled to Fafin on the southern edge of Tal Rifaat.

The SNA also disrupted the PKK/YPG’s efforts to establish a terror corridor by cutting off the route between Raqqa and Aleppo, blocking the link between Tal Rifaat and northeastern Syria.

The YPG/PKK terrorists seized control of Tal Rifaat and some surrounding settlements in February 2016.

The terror corridors would be the M4 and M5 highways, referenced at the beginning of this series of posts

As I’d stated previously, for what ever reason Syria allowed this occupation to carry on, they did. The Syrian government knew, without a doubt, this was a problem for Turkey. It’s equivalent to having the Ukrnazis in Ukraine ready to strike at Russia, anytime being a problem for Russia.

But, other groups were part of the melee. Groups that claimed their loyalty to Israel. This is unsurprising given Israel’s constant participation in and non stop attacking of Syria. Israel has never stopped bombing Syria. Treating AQ terrorists at their border. Being fully participant in the earliest “protests” that took place in Syria, in Daraa. From where the entire destabilization kicked off! (Bordered by Israel and Jordan.)

There are a ton of people claiming Turkey is acting in Syria on Israel’s behalf- They couldn’t be more wrong in my opinion. I’m talkin’ bonkers.

Here’s their logic? There are Turkish speakers among the fighters, so Turkey is to blame. Many of these fighters are the aforementioned PKK. Following their logic, my response is Syria is chock full of Chechens and Dagestani fighters- Does that mean Russia is to blame for their presence? No, it does not. There are multiple parties with multiple interests in Syria. Including Iran.

The Astana Trio has been super active lately;

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was in Ankara earlier on Monday and met his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan. Fidan said at a joint news conference that they agreed with Iran over efforts against terrorism, ( Adana agreement) as Syrian opposition took back a key area controlled by terrorist group PKK/YPG.

Fidan has urged sides of the conflict to maintain calm and underlined that the current conflict was a result of “unresolved problems” in Syria where the sides failed to reach a political settlement. Türkiye is an advocate of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and endorses talks between the opposition and the regime to end the long-running conflict.

Turkey calls for reconciliation between Syria government and opposition to end conflict

At a joint news conference in Ankara with his Iranian counterpart, Hakan Fidan said Turkey and Iran, which support opposing sides in Syria’s civil war, have agreed to resume diplomatic efforts along with Russia to restore calm.

Turkey has been seeking to normalize ties with Syria to address security threats from groups affiliated with Kurdish militants along its southern border and to help ensure the safe return of more than 3 million Syrian refugees. Assad has insisted that Turkey’s withdrawal of its forces from northern Syria be a condition for any normalization between the two countries.

The idea theTurkey will withdraw it’s forces along the border is a pipe dream. It’s not going to happen. Syria is weak, broke and cannot maintain border security. With the US backed Kurds stealing all their oil money, Syria is simply financially unable to do anything of the sort. Which should already be obvious as they are relying on Turkey, Iran and Russia to help with this issue. Therefore Turkey will have to ensure the safety of their own border. Again we see the parallels with Ukraine and Russia.

Are all my readers aware that Turkey built a wall along vast stretches of it’s border with Syria? Probably not. Read this link.
Or this one

Western media has been positively giddy about the prospect of Russia losing their one and only warm water port in the Mediterranean, at Tartus. Which is supposed to belong to the Greater Kurdistan project- And looks to be where the American, Israeli backed terror crew is heading. Getting control of Russian military bases and it’s warm water port

PortsEurope- Russian military might lose it’s navy’s only warm water port

Tartus, Syria (Ports Europe) November 30, 2024 – Russia’s only naval base outside the former Soviet Union in Syria’s Eastern Mediterranean Sea port of Tartus looks like the next target of the insurgents led by the Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) that entered the government-held city of Aleppo on November 28 in a surprise attack….

HTS/AQ have launched a counter attack on Russia’s airbase

A war monitor and state media say that Syrian government forces have launched a counterattack against Islamist-led rebels who were getting close to a Russian-operated airbase after capturing a string of towns and closing in on the key city of Hama.

Map of Syria for reference
Loss of Russian military bases in Syria would deprive Russia of it’s ability to influence the situation in the Mediterranean

The loss of military bases in Syria in the event of the overthrow of the Bashar Assad regime would deprive Vladimir Putin of the ability to influence the situation in the Mediterranean.

This opinion was expressed by the former commander of the U.S. Army European Command, General Mark Hertling (Ret.), who spoke with CNN, reports Ukrinform.

“Both of those bases give him (Putin – ed.) access to the Mediterranean. Once he loses that because of a potential overthrow of Assad, he has lost capability to influence the Mediterranean,” the former commander said.

So, lots of information in the 3 part post- But, I’ve searched for it, read it and written it all up so it’s understood that Syria is one heck of a complex situation! Hope you read and enjoy it all! Thanks!
