TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior adviser to Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis said the
US-led coalition forces have not liberated the northern city of Raqqa but only replaced the Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) elements with Kurdish forces to cover up their support for the terrorists.
The US swapped out one proxy for for another- And the number of dead & displaced of Raqqa was horrendous.
Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Abdul-Qader Azouz, who is also a professor of politics, rejected Washington’s claims about the liberation of Raqqa from Daesh and said what happened was not liberation of the city but r
eplacement of Daesh with a group called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is also sponsored by the US.He further emphasized that the Damascus government has a clear stance against all measures taken by the US-led coalition.
The adviser went on to say that
the coalition is destroying the infrastructure of Raqqa and targeting civilians in the city.He added that the operation was meant to destroy the evidence of the US role in the emergence of Daesh and its support for the terrorist group.
The SDF announced on October 20 that they had fully cleared Raqqa from Daesh with the support of the US.
The US-led alliance confirmed this report a few hours later and US President Donald Trump called the operation to free the city a “critical breakthrough” and claimed that a “transition into a new phase” would follow it.
The numbers of internally displaced sat at around 300,000 persons. The dead were buried under the rubble left by the US/PKK/YPG death march.
However, an official source at the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that Syria considers the United States claims about the liberation of Raqqa city from Daesh as lies aiming to divert international public opinion from the crimes committed by this alliance in Raqqa province.
Syria considers, and will consider, Raqqa an occupied city until it comes under the control of the Syrian army, the official said.

Have you seen the recent videos of Arabs in ‘Rojava’ tearing down Ocalan posters because they don’t want to live under the Kurds?
I’ve seen video on line, not of the Ocalan posters being torn down, but, of the protests by Arabs, who were than fired upon with live ammo by the PKK/YPG

I think they were actually tearing down an Ocalan statue. So much misinfo being spread about this region and its people and so many useful idiots joining these movements and parroting the lies of the Kurdish freedom movement and their rights for all.

There was actually a person on twitter who made excuses for the extensive and well documented use of child soldiers, including ones that had been kidnapped from displaced person camps- He said if I was 16, I’d fight for the cause (true believer)- Problem, the kids the PKK use are even younger. There’s a big debate about Ukrainians fighting at 18 but somehow the indoctrinated crowd think it’s okay for Kurds to use children to fight- It’s not.
Here’s the other thing, the hypocrisy, if some African warlord forced kids into fighting, these same people would be up in arms- but Kurds, that’s okay.
That all said, what kind of adults and society will the brutalized, traumatized children create?
