From War Pigs- Black Sabbath, Paranoid
In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Ukraine’s military recruiters continue to kidnap citizens off the street.
Western media delusion. As strong as ever. Ukraine’s invasion of Russia was seen as a masterstroke by some? Perhaps? But not many.
Ukraine’s invasion of Russia was seen by some as a masterstroke, but it might backfire
Ukraine turned the conflict on its head with its surprise invasion of Russia’s Kursk region in August, in which it has gained more territory in a month than Moscow has this year.
But what was seen by some as a military masterstroke hasn’t stopped Russian President Vladimir Putin’s advance in Ukraine’s east.
Russian forces have sought to capture Pokrovsk for months but have hastened their march in recent weeks.
With troops now massed on the outskirts of the city and, according to some analysts, outnumbering Ukraine’s four-to-one, there are fears it could fall within weeks.
Ukraine to get more Martlet missiles from UK
UK Defence Secretary John Healey announced the new air defense package at the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) meeting at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This meeting was his first as Defence Secretary and reflects the UK government’s firm commitment to supporting Ukraine.
“This new commitment will give an important boost to Ukraine’s air defences and demonstrates our new government’s commitment to stepping up support for Ukraine,” Healey said during the event. The missiles, manufactured by Thales at their Belfast facility, are versatile and can be launched from various platforms on land, sea, or air. Travelling at Mach 1.5 with a range of over six kilometers, the LMM is effective against a range of threats, including drones and armored vehicles.
The first batch of LMM missiles, better known as Martlet, is expected to arrive in Ukraine by the end of this year, as part of the UK’s £162 million defense package for 2024. This support is primarily funded through the UK’s £3 billion annual commitment to Ukraine, with additional contributions from Norway via the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).
UKRAINIAN President Volodymyr Zelensky met today with top US military leaders and more than 50 partner nations in Germany to press for more weapons support as Washington announced it would provide another $250 million (£190m) in security assistance to Kiev.
US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the meeting of the leaders was taking place during a dynamic moment in Ukraine’s fight against Russia, as it conducted its first offensive operations of the war while facing a significant threat from Russian forces near a key hub in the Donbass.
Canada doesn’t miss an opportunity to spend Canadian dollars
Canadian Minister of Defense Bill Blair announced on Friday that Ottawa will be supplying Kiev with more military assistance, as per a statement posted on the country’s government website, Azernews reports.
As part of the military aid package, Ukraine will be provided with 80,840 additional CRV-7 rocket motors and 1,300 warheads, arriving in the months to come. Furthermore, 970 surplus C6 machine guns and 10,500 surplus 9mm pistols will also be donated.
“The UDCG [Ukraine Defense Contact Group] is a testament to the unity and commitment of Allies and partners to provide Ukraine with the crucial capabilities it needs to fight for its sovereignty and security. What happens in Ukraine will help determine the trajectory of global security. Canada’s support for Ukraine remains unwavering,” Blair commented.
And Canada will provide money for an F-16 Pilot training program

I would submit that there is no security threat to Canada/ US or European NATO nations except that of a nuclear ICBM exchange. Providing Ukraine with the means to set that eventuality in motion is itself the greatest threat to “global security”, For some reason the “gift” of 10,500 9mm handguns seems particularly odious. The same 9mm killers that the US arms manufacturers have poisoned our cities with for years, arming gangs, creating violence to the detriment of our quality of life. The handgun in modern warfare is the equivalent of the bayonet for hand to hand combat up close and personal. Those handguns will go to ‘police’, recruiters and vigilantes imposing martial law. Eventually they will trickle down and be used in the coup d’etat that will bring down the regime and end the blood bath.

The world can hope- because Ukrainian leadership is endangering more than Ukrainians
