Yes, this is an another “fact check”.
The question is posed in the sub heading, linked below.
The conclusion of the fact check does not dispute or dispel the continuing problem of excess deaths in children or adults, for that matter. The fact check further verifies the reality of the excess death situation. Yes, it's actually happening.
The fact check offers up nothing of substance, nothing that one can conclude with any assurance the covid jab is not contributing to the problem/growth of excess deaths.
I’d be curious to know if there is an issue of excess deaths among the unvaccinated?
“Have COVID-19 vaccines caused a 1,000 per cent surge in excess deaths of children?”
Pay particular attention to the obfuscation. The red herrings. The gaslighting. And largely the “appeal to authority’ fallacy.
“This week, CheckMate investigates whether excess deaths among children have increased by more than 1,000 per cent in Europe, which some have linked to COVID-19 vaccines”
The so called ‘vaccine’ and it’s massive administration have to be taken into consideration as a causative of this huge increase in children dying. To deny or discount is to mislead. Intentionally.
“The blogger referred to “excess deaths”, which are any deaths in addition to what would normally be expected given past trends, including those directly and indirectly related to COVID-19.
His underlying figures were sourced from EuroMOMO, a database operated by a government research institute in Denmark which collates excess mortality data for 22 European countries (plus Israel).”
EuroMoMO
EuroMOMO is a European mortality monitoring activity, aiming to detect and measure excess deaths related to seasonal influenza, pandemics and other public health threats.Official national mortality statistics are provided weekly from the 29 European countries or subnational regions in the EuroMOMO collaborative network, supported by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and hosted by Statens Serum Institut, Denmark.
According to the dataset, there have been 841 excess deaths among children aged 0-14 so far in 2022, compared with 70 over the same period in 2021.
That works out to be an increase of 1,101 per cent, although the actual number of additional deaths (771) is far smaller. By comparison, there were an extra 17,772 excess deaths (8.4 per cent) in 2022 across all age groups.
Doesn’t that make you feel better? Though it’s an increase of 1,101 percent the actual number is just 771. (intentional minimization) Oh and the excess deaths of 17,772 is only an 8.4 percent increase in excess deaths – after a pandemic when excess deaths should be in the negative. Isn’t that swell?
Dmitri Jdanov, who heads the Laboratory of Demographic Data at Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, told CheckMate via email that the
"impressive" percentage change was just an effect of "mortality in this age group [being] relatively low".
Dmitri Jdanov suggests this “impressive” increase in deaths is an effect of “mortality in this age group being relatively low”
Yes, down player Dmitri, the mortality in this age group is and has always been relatively low so an increase of more then 1000+% in child deaths would certainly be a real cause for concern.
Tim Adair engages in bait and switch/red herring that gives him numbers that still show an excess death rate that is far to high although it’s not a extreme as the 1000+% increase- Pay attention
“Tim Adair, principal research fellow with Melbourne University’s School of Population and Global Health, took issue with the blogger’s “problematic” comparison of 2022 with 2021.
So a comparison of the same time frame in two different years is labelled as “problematic’
This was “because much of Europe spent large parts of the first half of 2021 in lockdown, a period when deaths in ages 0-14 years were lower than the baseline or expected level”.
But, but, but we had a pandemic… or did he forget?
Then he suggests a better, in his opinion, but still admittedly imperfect comparison “Dr Adair said a better, albeit imperfect, approach was to compare the two six-month periods from mid-2021, after restrictions had been eased”.– which results in a different outcome- one that he acknowledges is imperfect- Yet, you the reader of this ‘fact check’ are supposed to believe his imperfect data is superior to the data that kicked off this discussion
It’s worth noting that European countries only began vaccinating their 5-11 year-olds from December 2021, and the European drugs regulator is yet to approve COVID-19 vaccines for children under 5.
That’s muddying the waters! What about the “vaccine” given to the under 5 year olds that should not have been. I have no doubt of that as a reality. Why? Here’s but one report
‘I put my neck on the line’: Toronto doctor vaccinated hundreds of kids under 5 “off label”
This guy should have lost his licence! Giving experimental, unapproved treatments to children! Instead he’s lauded in the pharmedia. Therefore the lack of approval for under 5 jabs is just another red herring.
And finally the end of the fact check
Nevertheless,
both experts agreed that deaths were currently higher than would typically be expected, and not all due to COVID-19.
One more time
Bottom line excess deaths in children is higher then would or should be expected and not due to covid-19.
Yes, there could be other factors. But to say these excess deaths which are continuing globally are not linked to the jab is a falsification- It needs verification. Not just the say so of an authority figure- which by the way is just another logical fallacy
(authorities can be wrong- can be biased and quite frankly can be bought)

Hey, Penny: You could get a job as a REAL fact checker. 😉
Great analysis!
Hey Yaya
this “fact check” fails on it’s attempt to discount any connection to excess deaths and the jab
While verifying we have a problem with excess deaths- which is continuing to be unaddressed.
