Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University.
The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID mortality by about 0.2%, found the broad review of multiple scientific studies.
“We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,” the researchers wrote.
But the research paper said lockdowns did have “devastating effects” on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills.
“They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy,” the report said.
“Such a standard benefit-cost calculation leads to a strong conclusion: lockdowns should be rejected out of hand as a pandemic policy instrument,” the paper concluded.
Early on, many states and 186 countries imposed bans on work, socialization, in-person schooling, travel and other restrictions to limit the spread of the disease, citing recommendations by top health experts.
Researchers at the Imperial College London, for example, predicted that such steps could reduce death rates by up to 98%.
That never happened, according to the new study by researchers Steve Hanke, Jonas Herby, and Lars Jonung at Johns Hopkins.
“Overall, we conclude that lockdowns are not an effective way of reducing mortality rates during a pandemic, at least not during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic,” they wrote.

How many times over the years have we suspected the actions of these monsters to be subversive and intended to damage us in some way or another (medical tyrannies, illegal wars, financial terrorism, etc)? But when it comes to direct, active murder of our citizenry, are we finally awakening?
If what we are experiencing is murder (and I think it is), then I expect to see these monsters’ heads roll (or suspended from gallows poles).
Seriously. This is NOT just our leaders doing their best in a bad situation. This is an orchestrated, system of population culling and financial thievery taking place right in front of our eyes.
No, they don’t want us all dead, but they want as many as possible because when the financial side of the implosion becomes as obvious as the murder plot, many of us will understand their absolute hatred for us. What will we do about it?

I’m of the opinion that the harm caused by the lockdowns is intended. The harm is desired. For the simplest reason being a weakened citizen/ society cannot mount any sustained resistance. Not convoys. No protests. No letter writing. No will to act in a non participatory fashion to one’s own enslavement- Just subservience through mass malaise.
