Western media is spinning this meeting in so many directions, as usual. – Including where this alleged meeting is set to take place. Turkey? Italy? Or the UAE? If they haven’t got one specific location for the meeting, yet, is there going to be a meeting?
However…. this thought keeps going through my head; If the US is offering up a “peace agreement” who has Russia been fighting all this time? Ukraine? That doesn’t make sense.

A report from the Polish outlet Onet claims to have obtained details of a proposed US offer to Moscow. According to the report, Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff presented a six-point plan to the Russian government during meetings in Moscow. The key elements include an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and the lifting of most US sanctions on Russia.
The proposal reportedly allows Russia to retain control of Ukrainian territory it currently occupies, with the status of those
areas to be reviewed in 49 to 99years. It also offers torestore Russian access to international oil and gas markets at a later stage.However,
the reported plan does not guarantee a halt to NATO expansion and confirms that US military assistance to Ukraine would continue.Analysts say the proposals, if accurate, mark a significant shift in the US position. (?) Senior researcher Jussi Lassila from the Finnish Institute of International Affairs said the framework mirrors earlier ceasefire suggestions rejected by Moscow last winter.(?) This time, however, Russia might be more willing to consider the terms due to increasing economic pressure.
