Finally one admission of fact. Though it has been obvious from the get go, from the very start, that Ukraine was being used as a proxy largely for the US. Mentioned multiple times here, going back years….
Stating the obvious;
Marco Rubio, stating what all of us knew already..
“It’s been very clear from the beginning that (U.S. President Donald Trump) views this as a protracted, stalemated conflict,” Rubio told Fox News in an interview on Wednesday.
“And frankly, it’s a proxy war between nuclear powers – the United States, helping Ukraine, and Russia – and it needs to come to an end.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow agreed with Rubio’s assessment and noted that Russia has said many times that the war is a conflict between Russia and the U.S.-led collective West.
“We can and want to agree with it, and we agree with it. That’s the way it is. We have said this repeatedly. We have said that this is actually a conflict between Russia and the collective West. And the main country of the collective West is the United States of America,” Peskov said of Rubio’s remarks.
“So it is absolutely in line with the position that our president and foreign minister have repeatedly expressed. We have said this repeatedly, and yes, we agree that it is time to stop this conflict and this war.”
Of course the US continues the sleight of hand- As they lead from behind.. Shades of Libya
France will keep providing military intelligence to Ukraine as the U.S. freezes vital information
Speaking to France Inter radio on Thursday, Lecornu said France is continuing its intelligence sharing.
“Our intelligence is sovereign,” Lecornu said. “We have intelligence that we allow Ukraine to benefit from.”
Lecornu’s office later said the sharing of intelligence with Ukraine is not a novelty but “a continuity of service.”
Of course France is a NATO member, which means they can share NATO intelligence aka US intelligence
And finally,
UK signs deal with Anglo- American firm to provide advanced attack drones to Ukraine
The UK has signed a deal with an Anglo-American security firm to provide Ukraine with more advanced attack drones before a meeting between US and British defence secretaries on a possible peace plan
Defence Secretary John Healey visited Anduril’s Washington facility on Wednesday before talks with his US counterpart Pete Hegseth, with whom he is expected to discuss the decision.
He said: “We are determined to achieve a secure, lasting peace in Ukraine,
which means putting Ukraine in the strongest possible position
to prevent any return to Russian aggression.
There can be no peace agreement without Russia at the table
