After Friday’s reality tv episode of “The Apprentice” on location in the Whitehouse. Featuring the WWE tag team of Vance and Trump- Should we prepare for a new episode featuring Starmer and/or Macron?
Yes, I think that was all a show for the American/Western audience. Still not sure if Zelensky was in on it- playing the bumbling leader role? His body language was protective and defensive, the type on would see if feeling under attack. But, Trump and Vance were on fire!
The Coalition of the Willing to Present Peace Plan to Trump
Coalition of the willing. Where and when have I heard that term previously? Let me think… Attack on Iraq. Attack on Libya. Both actual US led operations- Though Obama claimed the US was “leading from behind” in Libya, but, that wasn’t true.
Anyone find it strange that a peace plan would be presented to the US?
Shouldn’t a peace plan be presented to Russia? Since Russia is a party to this conflict? It would make sense to me the coalition of the willing could take their peace proposal, if it was legit, to Russian leadership. So why Trump? Because the US is still in charge. And this is not a legitimate peace plan.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Sunday European leaders had agreed to draw up a Ukraine peace plan to present to the United States, a vital step for Washington to be able to offer security guarantees that Kyiv says are essential to deter Russia.
Starmer on Sunday unveiled a four-point plan of action to try to end the more than three years of war in Ukraine, which includes maintaining the flow of military aid to Ukraine, ramping up the economic pressures on Russia and having Ukraine at the table at any peace talks. The British leader said following the conference in central London that a “coalition of the willing” would help defend any deal for Ukraine and provide security guarantees. However, Starmer and Zelensky have both said U.S. backing would be needed for a robust “backstop” in a peace deal with Russia to ensure Moscow did not renege on the terms of an agreement.
That’s how I see this situation at this time.
