You’d never know this was both an anti NATO protest as well as a anti genocide protest based on the vast majority of media coverage and the drivel from the mouths of politicians. Who will take every and any opportunity given to misdirect.

This protest is being ginned up as an anti semitic protest to distract from the news of the ICC arrests warrants being issued. And the NATO meeting. The over the top hyperbole would have you believe that Montreal was destroyed. We always, always, need to keep in mind the media’s duty to manage your mind never stops.

Lets read some simple facts:

More protests are expected over the weekend as the NATO parliamentary assembly sits in Montreal from Nov. 22 to 25. Police are prepared to intervene if needed, Ms. Dubuc said.
Delegates from NATO member states and partner countries are discussing issues including support for Ukraine, climate change and the future of the alliance.

NATO parliamentay delegates are sitting in Montreal discussing war, death and destruction. And being protected by the province so they can conduct their business, the business of war, away from public eyes and well secured.

Montreal police clashed with anti-NATO and pro-Palestinian protesters Friday night, making three arrests.

Montreal police spokesperson Véronique Dubuc said two men, 22 and 28, and a woman, 22, were arrested. They all face charges of obstructing a police officer in their duty. The woman was also charged with assaulting a peace officer

But Benoît Allard, a spokesperson for Divest for Palestine, which organized the protest with the Convergence of Anti-Capitalist Struggles, said four protesters were taken to hospital.
Two people had difficulty breathing because of the chemicals used by police, one suffered a broken arm, and one needed stitches on the head and might have suffered a concussion after police hit them with a baton, Mr. Allard said.
“What we saw yesterday was a lot of violence from the police,” he said in an interview Saturday.

A few broken windows and glass doors were boarded up at the convention centre Saturday as police continued to patrol the area.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned violent protests in Montreal Friday night as the city hosted delegates for the annual parliamentary assembly of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).

Police deployed chemical irritants and other crowd control measures after protesters set two vehicles ablaze and vandalized multiple storefronts, including windows at the Palais des congrès. The demonstration was dispersed by 7 p.m.

Don’t mistake me for someone who thinks it’s okay for protestors to be destructive.
That said, don’t mistake me for someone who doesn’t understand in every protest there are provocateurs- Useful idiots of the state who will give the media and politicians the talking points they need to further divide the populace. And will enable the police to be harsh.
And definitely don’t mistake me for someone who would be unaware that the police would be brutal in restraining the protestors- That’s just business as usual
