Iran’s flagrant denial of US warnings? Justification for preemptive US/Israel attack on Iran

Dennis, It’s impossible for me to be a tabula rasa- It’s just not my nature. But I appreciate the concern 🙂 Yes, I think way too much! Guilty as charged. My husband would whole heartedly agree- Though the aforementioned villainous virus continues to trouble me this media narrative had to be addressed.

Thanks Ms Cat 🙂

Before we get to this news article, I’m going to state flat out, Iran doesn’t need to attack Israel. They attacked and by all reports I’ve seen their hit was way harder and Israel’s response did not pack the punch their spin doctors had claimed. So why these types of reports? Based on what little information I’ve consumed lately- Prepping narratives for a post election Israeli/US attack on Iran. The US/Israeli attack will be excused because it will be a “pre-emptive attack” to thwart the Iranian strike-

  • You are told to believe Iran will strike
  • Israel will preemptively strike and the media presented narrative will be the justification
  • We’re being psyoped.

Iran is sending a defiant diplomatic message: It is planning a complex response involving even more powerful warheads and other weapons, said Iranian and Arab officials briefed on the plans.

Unnamed Iranian and Arab officials

It remains to be seen whether the Iranian threats are real or just tough talk. Israel’s punishing airstrike against Iran on Oct. 26 shredded the country’s strategic air defenses, leaving it badly exposed and sharply raising the risks to Iran if it follows through.

Israel’s punishing airstrike? How so?

How the Israeli response plays out will depend on the size, nature and effectiveness of Tehran’s threatened strike.

Threatened strike or actual strike?

An Egyptian official said Iran warned privately of a “strong and complex” response.”

An Egyptian official said..

He said Iran could use Iraqi territory for part of the operation and would likely target Israeli military facilities “but much more aggressively than last time.”
Iran isn’t planning to limit its response to missiles and drones, as two previous attacks did, and any missiles used would have more powerful warheads”

The Egyptian officials said- Iraq’s territory to be used. No limit response

Iran doesn’t want to influence the U.S. election with its attack, the official said, adding the response would come after Tuesday’s voting but before a new president is inaugurated in January. Iran prefers Kamala Harris over Donald Trump, according to U.S. intelligence agencies.

Iran doesn’t want to influence the U.S election?
Iran prefers Kamala Harris- So they won’t attack to help her win? Does this make sense to you?

“Following Israel’s attack, Iranian officials initially told other countries in the region that it didn’t intend to respond. Within days, the tone shifted.”

Bad, Iran

On Sunday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country can’t let Israel’s attack go unanswered. However, in a sign that Iran is still debating how to retaliate, he said “the type and intensity of our response” could change if there were a cease-fire in Gaza and Lebanon.

A cease fire would be good for the region. Not for Israel, but, everyone else? Including the planet at large!

The U.S. said its military wasn’t involved in Israel’s most recent attack on Iran, but any retaliation would likely involve American forces helping defend Israel.

Oh, the US was involved. They’re always involved with Israel.

Agreed that Iran doesn’t HAVE to retaliate and wants to avoid escalation. However they do have internal morale and “Honour” to defend however childlike that may sound to us.
Tomorrow night around 10pm our time might be a distraction time when a lot of US and Israeli radar screen watchers might be more interested in their phones and the great american performative extravaganza. Constant prolonged vigilance is taxing and declines in effectiveness.

Hi Mark
I get the idea of having a moral obligation/honour.
If a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon could be gotten, it would be a very big honour- not that I think that will happen either- but, from a moral perspective it would be good for Iran.

I hadn’t thought of Israel and the US taking their shots tonight- but, entirely possible- with the possibility or perhaps inevitably of a contested election, the perfect distraction will be provided.
Which could serve the ever present apparatus embedded in the empire. Including, possibly, negating the need for the election- Like Zelensky in Ukraine. Just martial law and the extension of rule by tyranny-

So many possibilities to consider. None of them good.
I’ll pay attention tonight for as late as possible
thanks! 🙂
