Kursk: Ukraine attack on NPP- IAEA aware

Ukraine has previously attacked the ZNPP multiple times and now this attack on the Kursk powerplant- This is frightening stuff. Very risky.

The Western media/ 5 eyes is staying away from this report- Of course. I’m uncertain when this attack took place. Recently or at the beginning of the push into Kursk?

The enemy tried to strike the nuclear power plant at night, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been informed,” Putin said during a televised government meeting.

Ukraine has not immediately responded to the accusation.

During the same meeting, Alexei Smirnov, acting governor of the Kursk region, reported to Putin that the situation at the Kursk nuclear power station remains stable. The power plant consists of six units, with two currently shut down, two operational, and two still under construction, according to the IAEA.

Moscow Times

President Vladimir Putin on Thursday accused the Ukrainian military of trying to strike a major nuclear power plant in southwestern Russia’s embroiled Kursk region.

“Today, the enemy tried to attack a nuclear power station,” Putin said during a government meeting, referring to the Kursk plant.

“The International Atomic Energy Agency has been informed. They’ve promised to send specialists to assess the situation,” he said. “I hope they will follow through.”

Regarding the Kursk incursion

Ukraine’s operation in the Kursk Region was planned in coordination with US, UK and Polish special services, the press service of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) told Izvestia

Looks to be a NATO op!

It looks like the frontline is going to expand further. It was like I said in the previous post which was about this. Its some kind of operation with nato backing and likely some nato troops as well.

Hey Kaz

“It was like I said in the previous post which was about this”
and you were correct, based on this latest. I had the US pegged for involvement for sure- but then as time went on it seemed the Brits were involved to- As for the Polish, that’s par for the course. I should have suspected that as well! Still think that Poland will annex a chunk of Ukraine….

I am not so sure about that. I think the opportunity to annex a part of Ukraine is now in the past.

Russia’s point of NATO encroachment into Russia is now proven as good as proven. At this rate Poland shall cease to exist since its the US arm of Europa at the moment. And since Poland has played a big role in supporting Ukraine, it will be a target.

It would appear that the Russian occupied ZNPP was most recently attacked on Sun. Aug 11th. Here is the Kiev Times stretching all logic to blame the Russians saying they bombed the plant that they already controlled. Then a link to CTV with better pictures:

Thank you for that info Mark 🙂
I was unclear in my wording, when I posted this latest info, but, appreciate the additional info on Zaporizhzhia NPP. Because the Ukrainians are utterly insane in their continuing attacks on ZNPP, in my opinion.

Russia is claiming the Ukrainians attacked the Kursk power plant- I’d caught some rumblings here and there on the topic, but, nothing solid enough for my liking. But, it looks like it may have happened. I’m unsure when exactly it did happen- early on or more recently when the entered Kursk

Too tired these last few days- too much on my plate 🙁
