The Israeli army announced Sunday evening that it retrieved the bodies of five Israeli hostages from a tunnel in the Gaza Strip.

The announcement came a day after the Al-Qassam Brigades said that it lost contact with a group responsible for five Israeli hostages and that the hostages might have been killed in Israeli strikes.

Three of these five hostages were featured in a video released by the Al-Qassam Brigades a few days ago.

I’ve never really believed Israel wanted the hostages back, alive. It really didn’t serve their goals and aims. And it’s simple enough to blame Hamas for their deaths. So why make the effort? Democide.
