Fauci Looks Back; “Something Clearly Went Wrong” Walensky Lies

NYT’s via https://archive.ph/CC2It

Fauci didn’t need to look back at all. I was writing in real time, using mainstream and scientific sources that supported the fact the vaccine was a fail from the get go. No stopping transmission. No proof of preventing severe illness. Masks were always going to fail. And lock downs were going to be excessively harmful. All as the ‘pandemic’ unfolded. I just used my critical thinking skills after reading and comprehending the material. I also understand logical fallacies and how propaganda works. That’s it.

This piece is entirely to sympathetic to Fauci- That man is evil. He incited fear on a level unseen previously. Worse than 9/11. He lied. Repeatedly. Until he couldn’t anymore. He attacked other real doctors (those that actually treated people) and scientists. He acted and encouraged every manner of atrocious and divisive behaviour imaginable. So he could push the experimental jab onto a terrorized populace. Enmasse. And extremely profitable for his pharma friends. The agency he lead for decades has long suffered from regulatory capture.

Regulatory capture is an economic theory that says regulatory agencies may come to be dominated by the industries or interests they are charged with regulating. The result is that an agency, charged with acting in the public interest, instead acts in ways that benefit incumbent firms in the industry it is supposed to be regulating.

I spoke with Fauci about that: how he saw the full story of this historic public-health emergency and the role he played in it. At times, he was defensive, even combative, particularly when it came to episodes in which he felt that his own positions had been misconstrued and on the matter of gain-of-function research and the origins of the pandemic.

Fauci: I certainly think things could have been done differently — and better — on both sides. I mean, anybody who thinks that what we or anybody else did was perfect is not looking at reality. Nothing was done perfectly.

Certainly there could have been a better understanding of why people were emphasizing the economy. But when people say, “Fauci shut down the economy” — it wasn’t Fauci. The C.D.C. was the organization that made those recommendations. I happened to be perceived as the personification of the recommendations. (Why was that?) But show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down. ( Oh, Fauci the victim) Never. I never did. I gave a public-health recommendation that echoed the C.D.C.’s recommendation, and people made a decision based on that. But I never criticized the people who had to make the decisions one way or the other. ( Of course you didn’t- they were doing your dirty work- following your public health recommendation)

On masks

Fauci: It’s a good point in general, but I disagree with your premise a bit. From a broad public-health standpoint, at the population level, masks work at the margins — maybe 10 percent.

Maybe 10 percent? Or maybe 8 percent? Did he pull that number out of his rear end?

But I think anything that instigated or intensified the culture wars just made things worse. And I have to be honest with you, David, when it comes to masking, I don’t know.

Wallace-Wells: Let’s talk about herd immunity. In 2020, you talked a fair bit about what it would take to get there. A Times article in December 2020 suggested that you had been raising your estimate for the threshold at which herd immunity would arrive.10

Fauci: That article gets completely distorted, David. That has been weaponized against me.

Fauci the victim.

Wallace-Wells: Well, tell me how I should see it?

What the hell kind of question is that? Tell me how I should see it? Fauci has told too many for too long ‘how to see it’ and it was so very wrong despite his deification

The veneration of Fauci He, who, thanks to COVID inspired videos, T-shirts, coffee mugs and suggestions of impending sainthood. (Sickening)

He continues on in the interview to lie about herd immunity- This virus acted like all other viruses. This virus is closely related to the cold virus, which you can get many times. Same/same.

Wallace-Wells: So by the time vaccinations were rolling out in December, we had a relatively good idea about all of these dynamics and the way they worked in the immune system. At that point, many Americans were thinking, we’re going to get these two shots, and we’re never going to see this disease again. But at that point, experts probably knew enough to know that was wishful thinking, right? After all, all the trials actually demonstrated was protection against severe disease.

Fauci: Yes. We probably should have communicated better that the clinical trials were only powered to look at the effect on clinically recognizable disease, symptomatic disease. Although, at least with the ancestral strain, they did protect against infection to a certain degree. ( To what degree? Pick a number, any number will do Fauci)

But WE lied. Over and over we lied. So many liars. So often. Fauci. Walensky, Trudeau. Tam, Mustafa Hirji, Joe Biden. Liars, liars, liars, liars

“The next pandemic may be 25 years from now. It could be 50 years from now. Remember, the last transforming pandemic was 1918. We had pandemics in 1957, 1968 and 2009, but nobody hardly even noticed them, to be quite honest with you.”

I would have hardly noticed this one as well.. If not for the excessive fear mongering via the media and the political classes. I know no one who has died of Covid. I know no one with long covid. And the only person I know who became extremely sick from Covid was vaccinated. More than 3 years have passed. I remain unjabbed. And have yet to test positive for Covid. Yet, I expect that by now I’ve had this virus. And it barely registered in my reality.

Vinay Prasad, MD MPH; Physician & Professor Hematologist/ Oncologist Professor of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Medicine Author of 450+ Peer Reviewed papers, 2 Books, 2 Podcasts, 100+ op-eds, raises the question about Fauci doing a good job? He doesn’t think Fauci is evil. I beg to differ.

Penny,
Why can’t corrupt old plutocrats just retire gracefully, they made their money, their portraits already hang in the “Reprobate Hall of Shame”. Just go away and let the millennials screw things up.
( Fauci, Pelosi, Biden, Dianne Feinstein, Mitch McConnell, Madeline Allbright, Kissinger, Soros, Klaus Schwab, etc. etc. etc. ) …grrrrr….

Reprobate is one of my fave words! Rarely used but should be embraced more often because it’s so appropriate for so many- so thanks!

I often think of the joker in the first batman
“this town needs an enema”

Except it’s like so… many nations needing their leadership to be cleared out in that manner- and then kept clean!
I named the local medical officer because he is such a liar (Hirji) I wrote multiple times to this massive liar- he should be fired
