January 27/23 8:00 pm-

So a Friday night at 8:00 pm. That virtually guarantees low readership and low pharmedia coverage.

New York, N.Y., January 27, 2023 – Allegations have recently been made related to gain of function and directed evolution research at Pfizer and the company would like to set the record straight.

Allegations made. Setting the record straight. Right?

“Working with collaborators, we have conducted research where the original SARS-CoV-2 virus has been used to express the spike protein from new variants of concern. This work is undertaken once a new variant of concern has been identified by public health authorities. This research provides a way for us to rapidly assess the ability of an existing vaccine to induce antibodies that neutralize a newly identified variant of concern. We then make this data available through peer reviewed scientific journals and use it as one of the steps to determine whether a vaccine update is required. “

“Working with collaborators” Interesting word, I mean, why not partners?

We (Pfizer and their collaborators) have conducted research where the original SARS-CoV-2 virus has been used to express the spike protein from new variants of concern”

Pfizer and their collaborators have conducted research where the original virus is somehow used to express the spike protein from new variants. The way this happens isn’t mentioned BUT….. that reads as if they are doing ‘gain of function’ type research or perhaps ‘directed evolution’? Whichever term you prefer? Pfizer is definitely engineering some hybrid of the original virus. By their own admission.

Gain of function simply means a virus will be altered/engineered so it will gain a function over it’s original function.
To expand on this idea, let me explain/clarify? Say there is widespread immunity to the original virus. It’s still circulating but no one is getting sick. No one wants a ‘vaccine’. So Pfizer and their collaborators are engineering a different virus, that results in the original virus expressing spike proteins from “new variants” in the lab, in order to make vaccines? This new virus gains a function of being more communicable by circumventing naturally gained immunity. Thereby requiring a “vaccine”, that will be useless but highly profitable. Like the ones used now.

Clearly they are generating/designing mutated virus in order to create new vaccines. This is acknowledged in their own statement!

Let’s read on?

In addition, to meet U.S. and global regulatory requirements for our oral treatment, PAXLOVID™, Pfizer undertakes in vitro work (e.g., in a laboratory culture dish) to identify potential resistance mutations to nirmatrelvir, one of PAXLOVID’s two components. With a naturally evolving virus, it is important to routinely assess the activity of an antiviral. Most of this work is conducted using computer simulations or mutations of the main protease–a non-infectious part of the virus. In a limited number of cases when a full virus does not contain any known gain of function mutations, such virus may be engineered to enable the assessment of antiviral activity in cells.

Clearly Pfizer is engaging in gain of function. Because if they come across on that does does not contain any known gain of function mutations, “such virus may be engineered “ to assess their drug.

Their release admits they are engaging in gain of function. Was that what they were “setting the record” straight for?
