MERRY CHRISTMAS :)

We just returned home today after being away to visit family- Our fave is of course our grandson. What a delight!

I keep reading all the claims about “immigrants” to Canada not wishing Merry Christmas to others- And yet, today, I was wished Merry Christmas by a new comer to Canada. An actual Merry Christmas!

At my pharmacy the owners, who are also not Canadian born have a sign that says Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and Best Wishes for the coming New Year.

I had a lovely chat with some other newcomers at a highway rest stop today-

One question that often comes to mind? Are the people who claim to have these negative interactions with newcomers the masters of their own misfortune?

Just something on my mind as the Christmas season approaches and the idea of Goodwill to all is pervading my thoughts on one hand!

While the loss of too many loved ones this year also weighs heavily on me.

The inability to share happiness and joy with these special people is so very heartbreaking.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14, KJV).
