Trump Shortens Russia deadline- While Claiming Russia Spends all their money on war?

Can this get anymore dystopian?

This Trump quote says it all:

Russia could be so rich right now,” Trump said. “Instead, they spend all their money on war. They spend everything on war and killing people, and it doesn’t make sense to me. I thought [Putin] would want to end this thing quickly”.

“Every time I think it’s going to end, he kills people,” the US president continued, adding that he was “not so interested” in holding talks with Putin while Russia continued its attacks on Ukrainian cities.

It’s all gaslighting all the time!

He’s not interested in speaking with Putin- but he’s all in with Benjamin Netanyahu and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Miami Herald

President Donald Trump said Monday that he was “disappointed” with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the war in Ukraine, and said he would give Russia 10 to 12 days to end the conflict or face a new round of sanctions. Trump had warned Moscow earlier this month that the United States would impose “very severe tariffs” if Russia did not agree to a peace deal within 50 days, but on Monday, he said he would bring that deadline forward. “I’m going to make a new deadline of about 10 or 12 days from today. There’s no reason in waiting,” Trump told reporters in Scotland during a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain. “We just don’t see any progress being made.” If the Kremlin does not comply, “it would be sanctions and maybe tariffs, secondary tariffs,” he said, adding that he did not want to do that to the Russian people. Trump has repeatedly threatened to punish Russia over its escalating attacks in Ukraine but so far has not followed through. An imposition of new tariffs would be a shift for the White House, which excluded Russia from the round it imposed on a host of countries in April. And the threat of secondary tariffs -- on any country that trades with Russia -- could threaten economic partners, notably China and India, that import Russian oil and gas

When Trump returned to the White House in January, he said he could bring peace to Ukraine immediately, but the war has continued with Russian forces on the offensive in eastern and northern Ukraine

He could’ve brought peace, but that wasn’t really his plan

Pro-Ukrainian hackers from the groups Silent Crow and Cyber Partisans BY claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that their operation against Aeroflot had been in preparation for a year. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has launched a criminal investigation into the illegal intrusion into computer systems. Ukrainian media also quoted statements from the hackers, who claimed responsibility for a “strategic strike” against Russia’s largest airline. They said they had taken control of the entire IT infrastructure and destroyed 7,000 servers. The hackers claimed to have collected 12 terabytes of data. They also sent a message to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and other cybersecurity agencies in Moscow, stating that they were incapable of protecting critical IT infrastructure.

There are days, I just don’t what to say anymore about this situation. About the bizarre talk from Trump? What’s his excuse? Biden looked to have alzheimers- so he was out of touch with reality. Trump doesn’t appear to have alzheimers, but, he’s equally out of touch with reality.

Hey Gary,
I would think coercion doesn’t play a role in true diplomacy defined as “the profession, activity, or skill of managing international relations”
Trump isn’t displaying professionalism or skill in his actions or his words- He’s acting like the global bully.
But some people might think coercion aka persuasion is part of diplomacy- then again I’m still thinking making threats is coercion and bullying but it is not diplomacy.
That’s my opinion 🙂

This is a typical example of US-American arrogance. To tell others what they have to do. But it is they themselves who actually triggered this war. And this in the context of the agenda of the British Empire since the founding of the German Empire in 1871, and this agenda has been adopted and continued by the US-Americans
It is also a testament to how poorly US-Americans can respond to the Russian way of thinking.

They stung the bear, they pushed him, they upset him. And now they will have to endure the consequences of this.
And the US-American people should pray every day that Vladimir Putin will remain president of the Russian Federation for a long time, because he is gone, a nationalist hardliner will most likely succeed him.

To deepen the fundamental problem, interested parties can search for the following video: George Friedman, “Europe: Destined for Conflict?” (It’s ten years old but still actual).

Which I’m definitely going to listen to!

This is a typical example of US-American arrogance. – Yes
To tell others what they have to do.- All the time!
But it is they themselves who actually triggered this war.- Yup, but far too many would argue otherwise.

“this agenda has been adopted and continued by the US-Americans- It is also a testament to how poorly US-Americans can respond to the Russian way of thinking.”

Referencing the British Empire and it’s endless agenda of targeting Russia- Their poor response? Is it a choice to respond as poorly as they do? I think it is, because, the UK/US attitude comes from the idea of superiority.. So, what Russia states/speaks can be discounted or disregarded. Unless it just stems from some lack of comprehension? An inability to understand? I don’t know?
Regards to you 🙂
