The forest is more than one tree

‘Novorossiya’ historically — signifies a major initiative in the Kremlin’s geo-strategy, with global ramifications, as the conflict in Ukraine meanders toward a new phase.
What lends poignancy to the occasion at once is that Putin is beating the swords into ploughshares at a juncture when the US and its allies sounding bugles. Indeed, one way of looking at Wednesday’s meeting is that it is a riposte to the fanciful conjecture 10 days earlier by French President Emmanuel Macron that European armies might march into Ukraine to push back Russians.
Yes, France. And the mighty Macron? Macron has big trouble domestically
Italy’s Defence Minister begs to differ with Macron’s musings.
In another blow to Macron’s reckless idea, Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto told La Stampa newspaper in an interview published on March 10 that Paris and Warsaw do not have the right to speak on behalf of all NATO members when it comes to troop deployment to Ukraine and warned that sending alliance soldiers to Ukraine would block any diplomatic efforts to end the conflict between Kiev and Moscow.
“France and Poland can speak for themselves, [but] not on behalf of NATO,” Crosetto said of the developments. He also stated that making such arguments now “makes no sense” since any potential deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine “means taking a step towards a unilateral escalation that would block the path to diplomacy.”
Macron and Moldova
But there is a big picture, too. On Thursday, Macron met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, pledging France’s “unwavering support” for her ex-Soviet country as tensions mount between Chisinau and pro-Russian separatists in the breakaway province of Transnistria. During the Macron-Sandu meeting, the two signed a bilateral defence deal, as well as an “economic roadmap,” although no details were provided.
Sandu is a semi-finished American product — an ethnic Romanian who got transformed as a graduate of John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and had a stint in the World Bank and was pitchforked into the top rungs of Moldavian politics, eventually as the pro-European candidate in the Moldovian president election in 2016.
Sandu has the same genetic make-up as another colourful figure in the post-Soviet space whom the US groomed for “regime change” in Tbilisi — Mikheil Saakashvili who was the president of Georgia for two consecutive terms from 2004 to 2013 following a colour revolution stage-managed from Washington. The strategic calculus both in Georgia and Moldova basically aims at NATO’s expansion into the Black Sea which has been historically a Russian sphere of influence.
Reminds me of Navalny as well
France and Armenia- France had been heavily involved in turning Armenia towards NATO/West/EU influence
France tasted blood in pushing a similar strategy in Armenia, which has virtually moved out of the Russian orbit and is jettisoning CSTO membership while seeking EU and NATO membership. Its focus will be to evict Russian military presence in Transnistria.
There are still persons in the alt media who have refused to understand that Armenia has long tossed it’s cooperation with Russia aside. Russia understands this fact. They’ve openly acknowledged this reality. Armenia’s leadership has pretty much said this aloud.
EU dominance in Armenia has been previously mentioned
And France’s involvement has gone largely unnoticed.

France’s Whining Over The Nagarno Karabakh Agreement (Russia, Armenia & Azerbaijan) Continues On.
Yah, France. The leadership of that nation has no desire for peace in NK. None. Nadda, Zéro Zéro . Still awaiting the answer to the question – Why has France been getting a free pass in the media, alt and msm, for it’s heavy handed and obvious involvement in Nagarno Karabakh?
France says some points of Karabakh armistice require discussionYEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The French government has studied the Nagorno Karabakh armistice signed between Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan and it believes that some of the points of the agreements require further discussion, French Minister of State attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne told a news conference in Yerevan.

Duplicitous France & US Decry the Astana 2.0 Which Halted the Fighting in Nagorno Karabakh, France Rebukes Russia?
It was an Astana 2.0 that resulted in the cessation of hostilies in NK. That’s just the fact.
No matter how much you may disagree or stomp your feet. Or state outright falsities. It was the regional solution that was needed at this time. And it is this solution that has made both the US and France very, very unhappy, because this agreement was not desired by the US and France!
Thankfully someone besides myself has been paying attention. That someone is MK Bhadrakhumar. While I’ve not entirely agreed with him. He’s been a sane voice among an abundance of insanity on this topic.
Two months ago I explained how it was NATO was looking to challenge Russia, Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan in the region. (I’ve long ago explained that NATO and Turkey were “out of love”) Don’t forget the US and friends had tried & failed with one of their usual colour revolution tactics in Azerbaijan.Though they did succeed in Armenia. France and the US have been playing geo political games- behind the scenes, as I’ve written
Okay, so that’s me writing and reporting in 2020
In the bigger picture, France is repeating a role they’ve previously played. In Libya, Armenia, Ukraine and most recently Moldova.
Old empires still clinging to their imperial ways?
Digression over. The phoenix rising from the ashes via Bhadrakumar
The crux of the matter, in geopolitical terms, is that Novorossiya is rising from the ashes like the phoenix and becoming, as Catherine the Great envisaged, Russia’s most important all-weather gateway to the world market connecting its vast untold mineral resources and huge agricultural potential. George Soros knows it; Wall Street knows it; Biden knows it. For France and Germany too, it is invaluable as a resource base if it is to ever regain its economic dynamism.
But in immediate terms, the challenge lies in the politico-military sphere — that “Russia cannot be allowed to win in Ukraine,” as Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky summed up. Russia has requested a Security Council meeting on Ukraine for March 22. Polyansky said Russia will expose the diabolical plots of France, Germany and the US.
Intrigue is all around

Macron has now Brigitte-gate on his hand now that Candace Owens made an excellent synthesis of the story. It’s now 3 years that this story was out but the mainstream media managed more or less to limit its impact by their usual tacticts (antisemite, conspiracy looney, right wing, etc.).
Hey Gallier2
I saw this news was making the rounds again!
Given Macron’s big mouth recently- I can’t help but wonder if he’s being warned (to shut up)
Yes, I think he’s out of controle (coke). He even wants to send French troops to Odessa to fight Russia. Insane. NATO, Germany, Britain even Poland told him to get lost.
Hey Gallier2
I’d seen the reports that other countries brought him to heel- but, I’m not sure that will stop him
Now, something that makes sense. Comming from Sergueï Narychkine the Russian chief of external intelligence.
– The French already have lost thousands of “volunteers” (the Caesar canons and SCALP missile do not function by themlselves) but cannot say so.
– Macron cannot confess to these deads, that’s why doubling down is his idea.
Canada recently lost a volunteer as well
Most Canadians think this is a do gooding bunch. Whatever!
