Hi Penny,
I am finding it impossible to muster up any coherent comments with everything moving so fast. I only listen to commentary that is less than 2 hours old. Thankfully I have chosen not to have an account on X or Tik Tok or Telegram, that would drive me even more perturbed.
The empire has gone insane behind it’s genocidal sociopath emperor. I fear we are approaching an irreversible crossroads,the deep dark chasm of our times.
If you have noticed a drop in comments here it’s because we don’t know what to say.
All goodness and humanity has stuck it’s head in the sand of the Middle East and the mud of the Ukraine.
Rest assured I still check in here every day.

Penny. It all reminds me what went down just before the invasion of Iraq–22 years ago now. So very similar. All kinds of diplomatic distractions regarding “negotiations”. But, it inexorably led up to the “Shock and Awe” weekend where they said they defeated Saddam. Just a day or so ago–all the American troops vacated Iraq [their bases all having been destroyed by Iran]. The stunning news that the Americans were forced out of Iraq has gone virtually unnoticed–all gone–after massive death and destruction. Now the same thing will happen to Iran.

Hi Penny. Why would Nova Scotia worry about fertilizer when Saskatchewan is the world’s major producer of Potash fertilizer in the world?

Penny my gut feeling is that Bibi is dead. I’m not saying that anymore on my blog because the AI is just over the moon on Bibi’s “appearances” during the past week or so. This is the first AI war and Israel is attempting to fight it with a dead leader IMO, just to see if they can.

What happened is that Joe Kent gave an interview [I have the link in yesterday’s post on my blog and said that Israel was doing things without partnering with the US and that was getting the US in over its head. The bombing of the gas field was used as an example. So of course Trump and Netanyahu started juggling around with the facts behind that strike.

Israel changes it’s tune. Why? Are they lying. Is the US lying are the both lying??? Who knows

What has crossed my mind is this… If Trump wants out of the war, this is his chance. Trump can claim the US is leaving, recalling that the US claimed they attacked Iran because Israel was going to attack Iran. Can the “betrayal” of the US by their best ally in ME be used to their advantage? To exit the war? Save face? Maybe Trump can win the upcoming mid term elections- or at least stop himself from being impeached. He can even claim he “ended” another war?
