“When justice department officials reviewed what attorney general Pam Bondi called a ‘truckload’ of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times,” the Wall Street Journal is reporting, citing senior administration officials.

Some Trump supporters for years have fanned conspiracy theories about Epstein’s clients and the circumstances of his 2019 death in prison

Trump’s name appearing in the files should not come as a surprise. Friends for years. Both running “modelling” agencies. It’s been reported Melania knew Epstein prior to meeting Trump. So his name being in the files should have been expected.

What happens now?

There is talk that Pam Bondi is going to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell. We’ll she spill the beans, entirely? Or will Ghislaine give the Trump administration the out they need? In exchange for her “get out of jail” free card?

Brief Recap:

After coming upon a Vanity Fair article that reported the contact information for Edmond Safra appeared in Jeffrey Epstein’s “black book” my background research began. This took us all into the roots of the Magnitsky act. That act was signed into law by Mr Hope and No Change Obama. back in 2012.

The U.S. list is part of a December 2012 law, the Magnitsky Act, which imposes visa bans and freezes assets of Russian officials believed to be connected to the death of whistleblower Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, who uncovered the country's largest known tax fraud.

The Magnitsky Act has it’s roots, believe it or not, in the ’90’s. Going back to the plunder of post Soviet Russia, as Russia had come under the thumb of the bankster class.

Following up on the Magnitsky Affair, you might be in a position to answer a question which has always puzzled me : Has Edmond Safra been murdered by the Russians instead of having died accidentally in his burning flat in Monaco?

ANSWER: I knew Dominick Dunne who wrote the story Death in Monaco for Vanity Fair. He told me he was in a restaurant in Paris and someone came up to him and said – be careful the questions you are asking. They tried to blame Safra’s male nurse for setting the fire. After a fake trial, he was sentenced to prison. He was later released by the high court stating that the prosecutor and judge conspired to deny him a fair trial and he was just released and send home to the States. That was the end of the case. Nobody else was ever charged and Dominick told me that bullets were found in Safra’s body. So do I “think” that Safra was murder? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was killed on December 3rd and they began the contempt on me to stop any trial and take all the lawyers away within 3 days.

Yeltsin had previously announced that he would not run in 2000 during March 1998. His heir apparent at that was expected to be Prime Minister Viktor S. Chernomyrdin. Then he shocked the world on March 23rd, 1998 (I've highlighted the March 23rd date for  a specific reason) firing Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin, and the entire government. It was then a major shift as Yeltsin changed his mind and announced on March 29th, 1998 that he WOULD run for office in 2000. I was solicited to invest $10 billion into Hermitage Capital at Republic National Bank. I refused. I was flat outright told that Boris Yeltsin would step down as President and they would have an inside track to the resources of Russia. I was not told of his successor, just that the fix was in so invest $10 billion. I even sent emails concerning this solicitation which took place in April/May 1999.

Martin Armstrong is reporting that he was solicited to invest 10 Billion dollars in Bill Browder’s Hermitage Capital because they, Hermitage Capital/Bill Browder, would have the inside track to the resources of Russia. “The fix was in”

Mr Armstrong continues:

The Bank of New York money-laundering case begins in August 1999. It was Edmond Safra’s Republic National Bank that ran to the Department of Justice and reported its rival Bank of New York was engaged in a money-laundering case of $7 billion. This is when everything begins to go crazy. The letter from the FSA claiming to be verifying I had $10 billion on deposit at Republic is dated August 18th, 1999. It was corrected on August 31st, 1999 to $1 billion, but Republic had already stolen the money. 

On August 27th, that is when I was told that the head of the bank in New York, George Wendler, was “just the messenger” and that to me meant this theft I believed was directed from Edmond. I told them to tell Edmond I would be on a plane in the morning to Geneva the next day, which was a Saturday. I was then told that Edmond left Geneva and went to Monaco “for security reasons” which they did not explain. 

There was $7 billion that was wired through Bank of New York which involved money stolen from the IMF loans to Russia. The attempt to takeover Russia by blackmail was set in motion. As soon as that wire was done, that is when Republic National Bank ran to the Department of Justice to say it was money-laundering. I believe this started the crisis and Yeltsin was blackmailed to step down and appoint Boris A. Berezovsky as the head of Russia.

Back to Boris Bezovsky.. who was found dead March 23, 2013. 15 years to the day Yeltsin “shocked the world”

Clearly, Republic National Bank was involved with the US government for they were sending also skids of $100 bills to Russia. It was written up and called the Money Plane.(Read the money plane article) Yeltsin then turned to Putin realizing that he had been set up. This is how Putin became the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia on August 9th, 1999 until August 16th, 1999 when he became the 33rd Prime Minister and heir apparent of Yeltsin. Yeltsin resigned on January 1st, 2000. By the end of September 1999, Russian prosecutors began their own criminal investigation into the allegations of money-laundering through the Bank of New York and Lucy Edwards:

Regarding the activities around the money plane

Here is what CNN Money wrote on September 1st, 1999 12 days before my case began:

The saga that’s brought money laundering issues to the fore this summer allegedly began back in 1994, when Russia’s International Monetary Fund representative, Konstantin Kagalovsky, left the organization to join Menatep Bank in Moscow.

Over the next three years, it’s alleged, Kagalovsky arranged to funnel billions of IMF money meant to help transfer Russia’s communist economy into a capitalist one through a private company called Benex Worldwide Ltd. Eventually, the money went into and back out of Bank of New York (BK) and Republic National Bank, a unit of Republic Bancorp (RBNC), as well as several institutions in Europe, including the Union Bank of Switzerland AG and Deutsche Bank AG and its Bankers Trust Unit.

Money Laundering it’s what banks do…

An IMF representative Konstantin Kagalovsky leaves the organization, joins Menatep Bank and arranges to funnel billions of dollars of IMF money into and out of Russian banks- That were wildly corrupt at the time.

Suddenly I’m back in time. Menatap bank is involved in funneling billions of dollars. Laundering money with the help of numerous banks and the US Federal Reserve. Say it isn’t so?

Digression.. Intersecting Strands Through Time and Space

Let’s go back to 2010 and revisit yet another Oligarch. One Mikhail Khodorkovsky and his associate Platon Lebedev. And, Menatap Bank.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky & Platon Lebedev found guilty of embezzlement.

- In 1987 - four years before the fall of the USSR - he (Khodorkovsky founded what would become Menatep, one of post-Soviet Russia's first private banks.  

-In December 1995, as a result of the so-called shares-for-loans auctions, Khodorkovsky's Menatep Group took control of the Yukos oil company. For the knockdown price of $350m. 


-Mikhail Khodorkovsky, even served as deputy fuel and oil minister during Boris Yeltsin's presidency. (conflict of interest, insider knowledge) 


- In 2003, when Khodorkovsky was arrested, he signed over all his shares in Yukos, to one Jacob Rothschild, of the Rothschild banker and Oil family.

Followed up with another report

Mikhail Khodorkovsky, now in prison, has been accused of money-laundering, among other things. Menatep was implicated in the diversion of US $4. 8 billion in IMF funds lent to Russia in 1998: this gave rise to the Kremlingate.

And yet another post on the topic:

    She said the resulting profits were "concealed in Switzerland, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and the United States." She said transfers to the "great money-center banks" such as J.P. Morgan Chase, the Bank of New York and Citibank appear on the bank statements of the Swiss accounts under her signatures.

The money laundering through the the ‘great money center banks’ jibes with the information from the Armstrong Report.

Armstong continues: The very person that I suspected would become the head of Russia was Boris A. Berezovsky, who I knew was a friend of Safra. 

Interestingly, Berezovsky was tied into the Bank of New York case when the money-laundering climbed to the highest levels. Interestingly enough, Bill Browder actually got his start under the patronage of Robert Maxwell who mysteriously died falling off his yacht, Lady Ghislaine,  on November 5th, 1991. 

The pension funds of his company were being used in schemes it was alleged to manipulate markets and Russia. I believe that Maxwell was killed to protect the “club” which was involved in manipulating a lot of markets.

After Maxwell’s death, Browder then joined with Safra. Edmond Safra provided Browder with working capital for his investment fund Hermitage Capital. HSBC, which bought Safra’s Republic National Bank, ended up as the claimed independent manager and custodian of Hermitage Capital.

And there we have yet another strand connecting back to Epstein, one Robert Maxwell. Robert Maxwell’s daughter is Ghislaine Maxwell. Ghislaine is infamous as a consort, procurer and associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Bill Browder, Boris Berezovsky and Safra, all linked to laundering money, that was earmarked for Russia, through various bank schemes. Safra provides Bill Browder with working capital for Hermitage. Hermitage was up to no good in Russia.

Ghislaine’s father was a known Mossad agent, who died in extremely mysterious circumstances. Same as Edmond Safra.
Jefferey Epstein had some type of connection to Safra hence the black book listing.- Jeffrey Epstein has a well known connection to Ghislaine Maxwell. Did he know Robert Maxwell as well?

Once you go down the Jeffrey Epstein rabbit hole one finds it to be a nearly endless tunnel of connections/intersections and suspicious deaths. I’d assume that if Epstein knew Safra that he likely also knew Berezovsky. Ghislain Maxwell and Robert Maxwell? Mossad connections? Again? CIA connections? Perhaps Jeffrey Epstein will meet a similar fate? A fate like that of many of his associates?

There have been questions about how it is Jeffrey Epstein came to be such a wealthy person- Well, it would seem to me, given his ties to the massive plunder of Russia- He made some money, probably lots of it, in those money laundering schemes. It just makes sense.

The blackmail potential cannot be dismissed- given all the access to and the trafficking of young girls. Globally.

The Trump campaign machine played the Epstein episode to their advantage- Or so they thought? Presenting themselves, through their influencers & Trump himself as a sort of bringers of justice. It’s one thing to run a campaign on that. It’s quite another to govern after having done so.

Vanity Fair has an interesting piece- The Mysteries of Jeffrey Epstein’s Financial Black Book

 Call me gobsmacked while experiencing a certain ‘blast from the past’ from a name dropped in the article, that got my wheels turning about the inter-connections between Mr Epstein and bankers, globally.
 It’s a digression which will be expanded upon at a later date. For now I’ll just touch on the topic.

Vanity Fair-

“But the biggest unanswered question remains how he made the nearly $600 million that he and his attorneys listed on his unaudited and unverified financial statement.

In order to find out how he amassed his fortune, it may take subpoenas from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York to Wall Street types in Epstein’s inner circle—people such as Leslie Wexner, the billionaire founder and CEO of L Brands, Glenn Dubin, the billionaire cofounder of the hedge fund Highbridge Capital Management, and Leon Black, the billionaire founder of Apollo Global Management, the private-equity behemoth.

While we await subpoenas and depositions—if they ever come remains to be seen—there is a road map of sorts in the form of Epstein’s so-called “little black book,” 92 pages of names, emails, and phone numbers of people Epstein knew, or wanted to know, but in any event had detailed information about. Wall Street people comprise a significant amount of the entries. “He was a kind of wholesale collector of people, including people he didn’t know,” one of the Wall Street guys in the black book tells me. “I guarantee you that 90% of the people whose names are in his book, he’s not in their book. Many of these people don’t even know him.”

“He was a wholesale collector of people. including people he didn’t know” Claims anonymous Wall Street guy who is also named in Epstein’s book. Of course unnamed claimant is speculating. Although he claims to be able to “guarantee” that 90% of the people whose names are in the book are unknown to them. How would he guarantee this? 
 Why is unnamed Wall Street guy presenting this type of narrative?  Is he being employed to create a distance between Epstein and the named individuals? In order to preserve reputations, etc?  
 Personally speaking, no one is in my “black book” unless I’ve had some contact with them. Which makes it very hard to believe that Epstein’s black book was filled, 90%, with people he had no contact with.

“What the book tells us is that Epstein knew, or aspired to know, some of the biggest names on Wall Street and in Washington. Sure there are the Trumps—Donald, Ivana, and Ivanka—and Bill Clinton’s surrogate Doug Band in the book. But once you get past their names, there is the horde of Wall Street executives.
The Wall Street names in the book range from the highly prominent to the obscure, and, for some unknown reason, a disproportionate number of names of bankers in it worked once upon a time at Lazard, my old firm. The prominent are easy to identify, but why were their names in the book? Why would the late David Rockefeller’s name be in there? He was, of course, the textbook definition of moral rectitude before he died two years ago, at the age of 101. (Was he? ) Also in the Epstein book are deceased financiers, such as Lord Hanson, the British industrialist; John Gutfreund, the onetime “King of Wall Street,” who presided over a major Treasury market scandal when he was the leader of Salomon Brothers; Paul Allen, the cofounder of Microsoft; Edmond Safra, a billionaire banker who perished in a fire in his apartment in Monaco in 1999; and Al Taubman, the billionaire Detroit real-estate tycoon who was caught up in a scandal involving Sotheby’s. (Taubman’s son Bobby is also in Epstein’s book).

Digression and a darn good one to boot!

Edmond Safra… now that name rings a bell- He died under some very weird circumstances..

Officially asphyxiation, but, he was reported to have had two bullets in him!

His wife, Lily,  was very much the social climber… who became an even wealthier women when two of her husbands died in such unusual circumstances.

The Billionaires Widow

 In 1988, the Safras purchased a huge villa in the south of France, and Safra spent $2 million in decorator fees on her bedroom alone. In 1996, the couple moved into a 10,000-sq.-foot apartment in Monaco, a mini-fortress over which Mossad-trained guards stood watch.”

Curiously Edmond Safra, whose mini fortress was guarded over by Mossad trained guards, died of smoke inhalation as fire alarms rang through the home...

The man charged in the incident maintains his innocence to this day and has written a book on the incident

We will revisit Jeffrey Epstein’s contact Edmond Safra because he ties to the Mossad, banker Bill Browder, Oligarch Boris Berezovsky and Russia- Weaving the web, as they say, weaving the web.  Funny how it is we just can’t get away from Browder his global bully Magnitsky act and intelligence agencies..

There is the multi-billionaire philanthropist and staunch conservative David Koch; Mike Bloomberg, the multi-billionaire former mayor of New York City and erstwhile presidential candidate; and there is Eddie Lampert, the billionaire hedge fund manager now presiding over the bankruptcy of Sears. There are the Forbes brothers—Steve, a onetime presidential candidate, and Chris, known as “Kip”—whose father was Malcolm Forbes and who may have at one point been billionaires. There are also the billionaires Ron Burkle, the onetime supermarket buyout impresario (and great friend of Bill Clinton), and Edgar Bronfman Jr., the spirits scion who took the family’s fortune and went Hollywood, with mixed success.

Recall that the Bronfman name, specifically Clare, has a connection to the NXIVM Cult?

 Nxivm cult, based in New York State (near Albany), was peddling women for sexual blackmail.
Any connections to Epstein?

“Also among the billionaires are Conrad Black, the Canadian media tycoon turned prominent historian and convicted felon, and Nicolas Berggruen, the fabulous and fabulously itinerant art collector and the founder of the annual $1 million Berggruen Prize that is given to a “thinker” who helps to shape “human self-understanding” and to “advance humankind.” There is also Henry Kravis, the billionaire cofounder of KKR, the onetime buyout king. How did Kravis, who is usually oh so careful about such things, get into Epstein’s book? I am not the least bit surprised to see billionaire Ron Perelman’s name in the book, especially since he lives blocks from Epstein’s East 71st mansion.

But the real fun of Epstein’s tome comes in wondering about the names of the less well-known bankers, and why Epstein would be in touch with them. Jes Staley, a former senior executive at JPMorgan Chase and now the CEO of Barclays Plc, the big British bank, was, as the New York Times reported, Epstein’s conduit to JPMorgan Chase back in the day. Epstein introduced Staley to the billionaire hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin. Dubin, who did not respond to a request for comment, met Epstein through his wife, Eva Andersson, a former Miss Sweden, and of course they are both in the book. When JPMorgan Chase bought a majority stake in Dubin’s Highbridge Capital Management in 2004 (and the rest five years later), Epstein got a fee. (Staley did not respond to a request for comment.)

Bill Berkman, the wealthy investor whose secretary once sued him about being forced to look at pornographic pictures of women in emails (the suit was dismissed with prejudice in 2015), is in the Epstein book, as are the hedge fund managers Boykin Curry and Adam Dell, the brother of Michael Dell, the multi-billionaire founder of Dell Computer. There is Alan Patricof, the prominent New York venture capitalist John Paulson, the billionaire hedge fund manager who made a fortune betting against the mortgage market in the years leading up to the 2008 financial crisis; and Michael Ovitz, the onetime Hollywood super-agent and Disney executive.

A former Goldman Sachs vice chairman and director—Robert Hurst—makes an appearance in Epstein’s book, as does Tony Dub, a former senior banker at First Boston back in the day. Lew Ranieri, the billionaire creator of the Wall Street securitization market when he was at Salomon Brothers—which eventually led us down the rabbit hole of mortgage-backed securities—is in the book. And, not surprisingly given that Epstein worked there briefly, two of the former leaders of Bear Stearns—Jimmy Cayne, the former CEO, and Warren Spector, the former president of the firm—are included.
But it is the former employees of Lazard—the prominent but relatively small M&A and investment management firm—that are disproportionately showing up in the book. There is Roger Barnett, who was a former colleague of mine, and is now the CEO of Shaklee, the Japanese nutrition and green cleaning-products company. (Barnett is married to Sloan Lindemann, the daughter of the late billionaire George Lindemann, whose name is also in the book.)”

“There is Eva Lorenzotti, a former junior banker at Lazard and New York socialite who is now affiliated with the Raine Group (started by two former Lazard bankers); there is Todd Meister, also a former junior banker at Lazard when I was there, whose father Robert “Bob” Meister (also in the book), a vice chairman of Aon Group, the insurance brokerage, introduced Epstein to Les Wexner, the billionaire founder of the Limited (who of course was in the book.) Robert Meister and Jeffrey Epstein were said to have had a falling out long ago but Wexner did help Todd Meister get his hedge fund off the ground with an investment of many millions of dollars. (Todd Meister was once briefly married to Nicky Hilton Rothschild, the sister of Paris Hilton.)
Wexner was also a longtime Lazard client. Former Lazard CEO William Loomis was once on the Limited’s board of directors. (Loomis’s name is not in the Epstein book.) Nina Griscom, a New York socialite and the stepdaughter of longtime Lazard honcho Felix Rohatyn, is in the book, as is Raymond McKenzie, who also worked at Lazard around the time I was there too. (“When it rains it pours,” McKenzie emailed me when I inquired why he was in the book.) And there is Jeffrey Leeds, a longtime friend, who left Lazard in the 1990s and started his own private-equity firm focused on the education sector. (Lazard did not respond to a request for comment.)

Two other entries caught my eye. One is for Tom Barrack, the founder of hedge fund Colony Capital and a longtime friend of Donald Trump. Barrack was head of Trump’s inauguration committee; he has agreed to cooperate with the House Judiciary Committee’s ongoing investigation into Trump. But Barrack, like Ron Burkle, lives mostly in California so that complicates somewhat being in Epstein’s social circle, ameliorated for sure by private jet travel. The most bizarre entry of all is that of Anton “Tony” Valukas, a former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois and a senior partner at the prominent Chicago law firm, Jenner & Block. Valukas’s biggest claim to fame was probably as being the acclaimed author of the 2010 nine-volume report examining the causes of the biggest bankruptcy in American history—the 2008 liquidation of Lehman Brothers Why in the world would Epstein and Valukas want to have anything to do with each other? Valukas did not respond to an email request for comment”

I come away from reading the Vanity Fair article with the sense that it’s an exercise in damage control… Ya know don’t look at these contacts because according to the author they just don’t make any sense. And, yet……………….

With the Assad regime’s advances the civil war and America’s reduced involvement in the region, Israel has been forced to make significant changes in its policies in the Golan Heights

The recent tensions along the Israeli-Syrian border have been mainly aerial. But due to developments in the Syrian civil war, real changes are also taking place on the ground in the Golan Heights.

 But (Syria)  it is also gradually bolstering its presence in southern Syria, including in the Syrian Golan Heights. And accordingly, Israel is altering its deployment to prepare for what’s to come.

The de-escalation agreement for southern Syria, which the United States, Russia and Jordan signed last November, included a promise to keep Iran and its affiliated Shi’ite militias away from the Israeli border. Israel wanted the Iranians and their agents to be kept almost 60 kilometers from the frontier, east of the Damascus-Daraa road. But it didn’t get its wish; the agreement committed to keep them only 5 kilometers from the front lines between the regime and the rebels.

The Assad regime has posts overlooking the Israeli border near Quneitra in the northern Golan, and it’s possible that senior Hezbollah operatives and Iranian representatives visit these posts, which are quite close to Israeli territory.

That isn’t the only important development in recent months. About a month ago, the regime retook the enclave of Beit Jin in the northern Golan from Sunni rebels; it’s located less than 15 kilometers from the Israeli border. Israel Defense Forces officers believe that sooner or later, Assad will make an effort to regain control of the rest of the Syrian Golan, in part because of the symbolic importance of sovereignty over the border with Israel. Members of the security cabinet, who toured the Golan with senior IDF officers almost two weeks ago, think the same.

Analyst Elizabeth Tsurkov, who has followed events in Syria closely for the last several years and has interviewed many rebel militiamen and residents of the Syrian Golan, published a detailed survey of developments in southern Syria in the War on the Rocks blog last week.

Tsurkov said the scope of Israel’s involvement in southern Syria has changed in recent months in response to the regime’s successes in the civil war and Iran’s consolidation in Syria. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns about the latter on every possible occasion and has repeatedly said Israel will work to thwart it.

Dozens of rebels who spoke with Tsurkov described a significant change in the amount of aid they receive from Israel. Moreover, she said at least seven Sunni rebel organizations in the Syrian Golan are now getting arms and ammunition from Israel, along with money to buy additional armaments.

At the same time, Israel has also increased its civilian aid to villages controlled by the rebels, including supplying medicine, food and clothing. Last summer, Israel admitted for the first time that it provides civilian aid to villages in the Syrian Golan, but declined to confirm claims that it also provides military aid.

Tsurkov said these Israeli moves are intended to help block the Assad regime’s advance in the Golan and its conquest of rebel-held villages near the Israeli border. Nevertheless, she wrote, there’s an expectations gap between the two sides. The rebels expect unlimited Israeli support, and some are even hoping for help in their efforts to topple the regime. Israel’s plans are much more modest, and are intended as a holding action. (doubtful)

Relatively moderate Sunni rebels, whom the Israeli defense establishment terms “the locals,” control most of the Syrian-Israeli border, aside from two areas – a regime-controlled area in the northern Golan and a section of the southern Golan controlled by a branch of the Islamic State, Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid. According to Tsurkov, Israel is also helping the rebels in their war against the Islamic State.

This reads like Al- Golani’s background, doesn’t it? It does to me! Absolutely, assuredly and definitely. Hope this helps explain my insistence on calling Al-Golani by his correct nom de guerre.

I believe the investigation concluded the plane was shot down by a Buk missiles? Which is a Russian make, but Ukraine’s arsenal was well stocked with these systems. My suspicion at that time was Ukrainian military had shot the plane down.

Holy smokes! If Russia won’t take the Ukrainian bait would a false flag be the next move? 
This is exactly, I kid you not, exactly something mentioned as a distinct possibility just yesterday during a real life conversation
So, that freaks me out quite a bit!

And, a Malaysian passenger plane? Another Malaysian plane?
What would be the odds? It’s certainly memorable. As in the memories are already embedded in the mass consciousness.– Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 unofficial disappearance theories
My other thought is Malaysian Airlines are not so good and this tragedy is being spun for political advantage

Today it is MasMH17 crashing in Ukraine
A Malaysian passenger airliner with 295 people on board crashed in Ukraine today, the Interfax news agency cited an aviation industry source as saying.

The Boeing 777-200 was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, it said.

Malaysia Airlines has sent out the following tweet: “Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. Last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow.”

 The plane was due to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 6.09am tomorrow.
The Interfax report said the plane came down 50km short of entering Russian airspace.

It “began to drop, afterwards it was found burning on the ground on Ukrainian territory,” the unnamed source said.

The plane appeared to have come down in a region of military action where Ukrainian government forces are battling pro-Russian separatists.

A separate unnamed source in the Ukrainian security apparatus, quoted by Interfax, said the plane disappeared from radar at a height of 10,000 metres after which it came down near the town of Shakhtyorsk, reported Reuters.

Meanwhile Bloomberg has reported Ukrainian Interior Minister adviser Anton Gerashchenko on his Facebook confirming that the plane has been hit by a missile and crashed near the eastern town of Torez.

Kiev’s fascists are already spinning this was a shootdown!

Anton Gerashenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister, said on his Facebook page the plane was flying at an altitude of 10,000 metres when it was hit by a missile fired from a Buk launcher. A similar launcher was seen by Associated Press journalists near the eastern Ukrainian town of Snizhne earlier Thursday. The Buk missile system can fire missiles up to an altitude of 22,000 metres.

A Malaysian airliner reportedly with 295 people on board has crashed in Ukraine near the Russian border, on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia Airlines said it had lost contact with Flight MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukraine, it said in a tweet.

An aviation source in Moscow told Reuters the plane had been found burning on the ground in east Ukraine.

This can’t be good. It really can’t be good.
It’s clear Kiev is putting forth the narrative with zero evidence of any type. No investigation. No evidence to substantiate Kiev's claim  Malaysian jetliner shot down over Ukraine: official.

The shoot down narrative originates with Kiev. Every news item I read that mentions shoot down is quoting Kiev officials.Very worrisome. Very worrisome.

UPDATE #1– Malaysia was award-winning airline before losing planes

The apparent crash Thursday of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 is the second major tragedy this year for the airline, which is still searching for Flight 370 that vanished March 8.
 The plane that crashed, a Boeing 777-200, is a similar model to the one that disappeared March 8 with 239 people aboard on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The search for that flight has focused on the Indian Ocean about 1,000 miles west of Australia, based on intermittent signals that a satellite picked up.

Update # 3 : Why was this plane flying  over Ukraine?

 April/2014 International & US aviation authorities warned pilots and airlines to avoid Ukrainian airspace- Why was this plane there? 

Important questions that have to be asked?
1-How many commercial airliners would be using airspace over a war zone? Particularly after international and US aviation authorities issued warnings to avoid Ukranian airspace?
2- What insurer would knowingly insure a plane that was using airspace over a warzone?
3- Who assigned the pilot the flight path? 
4- If the pilot changed course mid-flight, who instructed the pilot to make the course change?

Aviation safety authorities in the United States and Europe warned pilots in April about potential risks flying in or near Ukraine airspace.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration issued a “special notice” regarding Ukrainian airspace advising airlines to “exercise extreme caution due to the continuing potential for instability.”

International aviation agencies in April also had warned pilots and airlines to avoid the Ukranian airspace.

Obama faces call to act over downed plane

As the world waited for an official US verdict ( An official US verdict?) on who was responsible for downing the plane, defence hawks were already warning that there would be “hell to pay” if Russia or its separatist proxies in eastern Ukraine were to blame.

Excuse me, how can the US issue a verdict without a proper investigation?

“Presidential airport hasn’t overflown Ukraine for a long time”– How long of a time? Since international and US aviation authorities warned pilots and airlines to avoid Ukrainian airspace?

 “I can say that Putin’s plane and the Malaysian Boeing intersected at the same point and the same echelon. That was close to Warsaw on 330-m echelon at the height of 10,100 meters. The presidential jet was there at 16:21 Moscow time and the Malaysian aircraft – 15:44 Moscow time,” a source told the news agency on condition of anonymity.
“The contours of the aircrafts are similar, linear dimensions are also very similar, as for the coloring, at a quite remote distance they are almost identical”, the source added”

US Intelligence officials confirm the shootdown “not an accident”

I am not convinced of shoot down. I understand there is a vast debris field which means the plane exploded very high in the sky. This doesn’t seem, to me, to exclude explosives planted on board?
Confirming a shoot down- still does not tell us, if correct, who did the shooting.

If Kiev had already declared the south/ eastern Ukraine skies a ‘no fly’ area- for anyone other then Kiev’s planes, then this plane flying overhead would have been a definite concern to the fascist’s in Kiev- They may have mistaken it for Putin’s plane and shot it down- Or, just the presence of the plane could have been all the justification needed for Kiev to take it down. So, we go back to the question, again, of why this plane was flying in this area? Was it being remotely piloted? It’s possible. Either way, the shooting down of the plane, still points to Kiev.

DNR Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Purgin said militias had no radars and therefore could not track planes.
“Let me say that Ukraine declared the south-east a no-fly zone several days ago. And every day they were saying that they were registering some drones or spy planes. Naturally, they wanted to shoot down such a plane to prove Russia’s role in the conflict. Having seen some plane on the radar screen they might have shot it down. So it seems like a provocation,” Purgin said.

So, there it is from July 2014. Ukraine was already firing on the Donetsk/Lugansk region- Already targeting civilians. This was after the Maidan “protest” show that was intended to provide a veneer of democracy to the very obvious western backed coup

Those who’ve been long time readers may recall when ISIS entered Syria they were going to overthrow it’s leadership. Coincidentally the West (US/UK/Israel/France etc) had the same goal.

Fast forward to our present time and the West- same suspects- have the goal and plan to overthrow the leadership of Russia.

Predicting the Future: The destabilization of Russia

Spreading ungovernability in the Northern Caucasus facilitates the emergence of Islamist safe havens, complete with terrorist training facilities, religious indoctrination centers, and hubs of organized crime. This should be a cause for concern for the United States.

The Dangers of North Caucasian Instability

The danger from North Caucasian instability is threefold.
First, the presence of such an ungovernable enclave in Southeastern Europe compromises the border stability of U.S. friends and allies, such as Georgia and Azerbaijan. Unrest in the North Caucasus increases the security threats to the two countries, where border security is already problematic due to the Georgia–Russia and Azerbaijan–Armenia conflicts. Poorly guarded borders increase the risk of cross-border terrorist activities. For example, Pankisi Gorge ( where the US trained many irregulars who became ISIS) in Georgia served as a staging area for Chechen insurgents during the Second Chechen War and provided “a vital link to the outside world which was not under the direct control of Russia.”[3] Porous borders also provide a convenient route for illegal trafficking in drugs, weapons, people, and even nuclear materials. Such activities may negatively influence America’s relations with Russia, the states of the South Caucasus, and Europe, and they could disrupt U.S. logistical support for operations in Afghanistan.

Second, the North Caucasus pose a global threat as a potential terrorist base in close proximity to U.S. European allies. Some terrorists are already operating in the European Union (EU), as the recent discovery and arrest of a Jamaat Shariat cell in the Czech Republic illustrates.[4] For now, such incidents are rare and minor, but the massive North Caucasus diaspora in Russia and Europe will likely become a growing security concern for European authorities. Due to Russian pressure on the North Caucasus insurgency,[5] local terrorist groups are too preoccupied to pose an immediate threat to the U.S. and Europe. Some experts have assessed terrorist activity in the region as a “minor global threat.”[6]

Third, destabilization in the Northern Caucasus threatens not just Russia, but also the security of the whole Caucasus, including Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The region is a principal north–south and east–west hub. Oil and gas pipelines linking the Caspian Sea to Western Europe pass through Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. The large oil and natural gas reserves in the Caspian basin supply a significant share of Europe’s energy needs and may provide an even greater share in the near future as projects such as the Nabucco natural gas pipeline come online.[7] The importance of pipelines and their vulnerability to sabotage make them preferred targets of local insurgents.

U.S. policymakers should be concerned that the North Caucasus may devolve into an anarchic haven for Islamist terrorism and criminality. Security of America’s friends and allies, prevention of a terrorist safe haven in the ungovernable North Caucasus, and ensuring the free flow of energy resources are high priorities for the U.S. in this volatile region. Such a threat should not be allowed to develop.
The interests of the United States and its allies could suffer from Russia’s failure to respond appropriately to Islamist extremism. 

If Russia can’t be destabilized one way- There are other ways to accomplish the western goal of overthrowing Russia’s government and chopping Russia into smaller more controllable areas- Long a western goal.

Perhaps this option is now on the table for the US and it’s allies? Because the narrative of ISIS-K being the perpetrator is remarkably focused and repetitive.

Alexei Navalny he’s back in the news! Did you all forget his past appearances?

We will trip down memory lane in short order. First this, Navalny is a man of many labels. At least in western mainstream media. But the best use of brands & labels is to both identify and sell a product!  Navalny is a product. Being sold to the western mainstream audiences- Europe, Canada, US etc.

 In Russia, it’s a different reality. Navalny is not really the ‘top opposition leader’. I am doubtful he is even a contender. Nor is he an “anti-corruption” blogger, that’s just his role. In the war mongering media here, he is mentioned as an activist- that is about the only somewhat truthful piece of info I have read. But exactly what type of activist is he? The western war mongering, destabilization pushing, media wants you to believe Alexei Navalny is someone important in some imaginary opposition…  But given Putin’s something like 80 percent approval rating, what opposition is Navalny the leader of ? And how important is he, really?

My contention is that Navalny is important to the Western/NATO destabilization agenda. He is an activist of the type we have seen previously, playing a role, in yet another colour revolution/spring type operation. Navalny is the face/mascot used to appeal to the masses in most NATO nations.
Which is why this Russian activist’s journal is available in English via social media
Because Russian activists who are allegedly working for change in Russia need an Anglo readership? Right?

To the masses of ordinary Russian’s his importance, it would seem, is pretty much non existent

Unlike Navalny’s theft of state property, Weiner’s act was a private affair. Yet, there has been an avalanche of criticism about Weiner and editorials and national leaders in the US have urged him to drop out of the mayoral race following the tawdry revelations about his escapades last week.

In comparison, all the animated discussions in Russia about Navalny bypass the core issue, namely, he has a record of embezzlement of public property and, therefore, ineligible to hold office. Ironically, it is on the issue of corruption that Navalny built up his strange career in the blogosphere from where he tiptoed into politics with magical ease.

It is even bigger hypocrisy that the American commentators apply to him an entirely different yardstick when their peer group back home would cast Weiner as the original sinner. To be sure, the strange case of Navalny raises some big issues.

He (Navalny) went to Yale under an American scholarship and returned to Russia as a freshly-minted public crusader – telegenic, English-speaking and audacious. But does that absolve him of a criminal past? This is one thing.  

The independent pollsters put Navalny’s rating as somewhere around 15 percent, which won’t stop incumbent mayor Sergei Sobyanin from winning outright in the first round. The polls show that the people’s distrust about Navalny is only growing and they feel troubled not only by his shady past but also by his brand of Russian nationalism that pits Russia against Muslim Central Asia.

Despite the West lionizing him, Navalny looks less and less convincing as a leader of a coherent opposition. And it raises a question: Is Navalny an individual or is he a project? There is something sinister going on.

Why else should the National Endowment for Democracy [NED] sponsor a 22-year old Russian young thing, Vera Kichanova, to visit the White House in Washington last week as “one of the faces of the new generation of political opposition in Russia.”

Ever heard of Vera?

I’ve never heard of Vera Kichanova?

The NED, which specializes in staging ‘colour revolutions’ in the former Soviet republics, acted as recruiting agency, while Vera’s appointments in Washington, DC, included Susan Rice, US national security advisor, Samantha Power, US ambassador to the United Nations, et al and the high officials at the White House and the State Department were eager to pick Vera’s mind about “what the US can do to help promote reform in Russia.”

Wow, this Vera Kichanova must be something ‘special’? Has anyone else heard of or know anything about this individual?

The spirited Vera promptly suggested to the Obama administration to expand the Magnitsky List “to include others, like the people responsible for the arrests of protestors on Bolotnaya Square [in Moscow in May 2012].”        

That’s an interesting suggestion from the 22 year old Vera, no?

The real reason behind such manifestly anti-Putin frenzy in the US needs to be understood. Gangster capitalism began in Boris Yeltsin’s time. It was Yeltsin who destroyed in 1993 the nearest thing Russia ever got as a parliament by ordering tanks to fire shells on its White House home. Yeltsin nonetheless enjoyed a good press in the West. There were no Veras hanging around Bill Clinton’s White House. Why so?

There were two reasons. One, the only alternative to Yeltsin was the Russian communist party, whose return to power was unthinkable for Washington, which, therefore, duly ensured Yeltsin won the 1996 election. The second reason was that a huge transfer of wealth was taking place from Russia, thanks to the bizarre situation in Russia.

On the other hand, the post-Yeltsin Russian political system proved “non-cooperative”. Vladimir Putin is an immensely popular national leader and doesn’t need the US’ support for political survival, thanks to his assertive international stance and his relatively successful economic policy, which saw a higher trajectory of growth, drop in unemployment and rise in real wages.


Obviously, it meant that the sort of dizzying levels of influence that Washington held over Yeltsin’s Russia has become a thing of the past. And, the sort of “business opportunity” to fish prize specimens from the muddy pool of Russian economy no longer exists as in those halcyon days of the nineties.

In other word’s Putin does not need Washington to stay in his leadership role in Russia

The real idea behind building up the Navalnys and Veras is to get under the skin of the Russian political establishment...................

I”ll end this flashback by suggesting.. Don’t jump to the conclusion that Russia killed Navalny. Or Putin strangled him with his bare hands? This is simply too obvious- Ask who benefits from this man’s alleged death? It’s not Putin. Navalny was political nobody to the Russian people. And was not a threat to Putin's leadership.

Meanwhile, Epstein has settled more than a dozen lawsuits brought by the underage girls who were recruited to perform “massages” at his Palm Beach mansion. Seven victims reached a last-minute deal last week, days before a scheduled trial; each received well over $1 million—an amount that will hardly dent Epstein’s $2 billion net worth.
With that, the known victims of Epstein’s sexual compulsion have been officially silenced, and the case against him is closed.

Michael Reiter, the former Palm Beach police chief, certainly thinks so. He gave The Daily Beast exclusive access to the transcript of his nine-hour deposition for the victims’ civil suits, in which he explained how the case against Epstein was minimized by the State Attorney’s Office, then bargained down by the U.S. Department of Justice, all in an atmosphere of hardball legal tactics and social pressures so intense that Reiter became estranged from several colleagues. At the time, Reiter, who retired in 2009 and now runs his own security firm, objected both to Epstein’s plea agreement and to the flexible terms of his incarceration in the county jail rather than state prison. Asked during the deposition whether he thought Epstein received special treatment, he answered “yes.”

Epstein quickly got wind of the investigation, and progress on the case got messy very quickly. He hired a squad of lawyers and private investigators and dispatched influential friends to pressure the police into backing off.
The detectives asked their federal colleagues whether the fact that some victims appeared to have traveled out of state on Epstein’s planes—plus the use of interstate phone service to arrange assignations—might be violations of the federal 2000 Trafficking Victims Protection Act, which carries a minimum sentence of 20 years.

I am wondering, did he have some information on his influential friends that would get them onside? Since he was trafficking the children, moving then around on his private planes, would his friends have been his clientele? Quite possible, read on intrepid reader, read on.

Many of his high-powered acquaintances availed themselves of Epstein’s private jets, for which the pilot logs, obtained by discovery in the civil suits, sometimes showed that bold-face names were on the same flights as underage girls. A high-profile trial threatened to splash mud over all sorts of big players, just as both Gov. Richardson and Bill Clinton’s wife were running for president.

These same civil complaints allege that young girls from South America, Europe, and the former Soviet republics, few of whom spoke English, were recruited for Esptein’s sexual pleasure.

Alan Dershowitz demonstrates his natural proclivity to scum defence?

Attorney Dershowitz says Epstein’s agreement to pay attorney fees for the victims and agree to civil damage claims—without admitting guilt—amounted to “extortion under threat of criminal prosecution.”

Dershowitz began sending the detective Facebook and MySpace posts to demonstrate that some of these girls were no angels. Reiter’s deposition also states that he heard from local private investigators that Dershowitz had launched background checks on both the police chief and Det. Recarey. Dershowitz denies all of that. According to Reiter, both he and Recarey also became aware that they were under surveillance for several months, without knowing who ordered it. And the Florida victims began to complain that they and family members were being followed and intimidated by private investigators who were then linked to local attorneys in Epstein’s employ.

Keep in mind this Jeffrey Epstein is a well known “philanthropist”

Epstein has been a serious and respected player in the highest reaches of politics and philanthropy. He has made substantial contributions to political candidates, served on the Council on Foreign Relations, and donated $30 million to Harvard University.

Interesting all this time later to see the media frenzy concerning this man and his dirty deeds- none done dirt cheap. I’ve seen nothing new or earth shattering in this latest document dump and it feels a whole lot like a distraction.

At my censored site, I’ve got multiple reports on this case from well over a decade ago- I’m not getting any new names from this latest release and don’t expect to. Whatever info Epstein had amassed is going to be used for other purposes.

Amidst the horrific devastation in eastern Libya the Canadian media has largely refused to mention the central role NATO’s war played in the country’s instability.

In a report on the thousands killed by flooding in eastern Libya Global National offered some context to the tragedy that’s thought to have left over 10,000 dead. It noted, “once one of Africa’s most prosperous countries, decades of lawlessness have left Libya fragile.” But the three-minute clip omitted any mention of NATO’s 2011 war in creating that lawlessness. Commanded by Canadian General Charles Bouchard, seven Canadian fighter jets, two naval vessels and special forces participated in NATO’s six-month assault.

A front-page Globe and Mail story on the deadly flooding reported that the country’s “divided authority delayed flood warnings” and “years of wars and military clashes across Libya have left cities vulnerable.” But, the article spread over two full pages in the middle of the paper failed to mention a war in which NATO dropped 20,000 bombs on almost 6,000 targets.

The media hasn’t always been reticent to discuss Canadian intervention into Libya. The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Ottawa Citizen, National Post and Vancouver Sun all published editorials endorsing the 2011 war. After six-months of fighting the federal government organized an $850,000 nationally televised celebration for Canada’s “military heroes,” which included flyovers from a dozen military aircraft. Prime Minister Stephen Harper told the 300 military personnel brought in from four bases: “We are celebrating a great military success.”

At a ceremony held in the Senate, General Bouchard was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross by the Governor General and PM for leading the NATO mission. Bouchard was also made an Officer of the Order of Canada.

The war celebrations were a cross party affair. After Gaddafi was savagely killed interim Liberal leader Bob Rae commended the Canadian military and NDP leader Nycole Turmel released a statement noting, “the future of Libya now belongs to all Libyans. Our troops have done a wonderful job in Libya over the past few months.”

Yup, Canada did a bang up job in Libya.

The Libyan people were one of the least developed in the world when Gaddafi came to power in September, 1969. Under the Senussi monarchy, Libya was one of the poorest countries in the world with an annual income of less than sixty dollars per capita.

Muammar Gaddafi based his system on Arab socialism and utilised the vast petroleum wealth to remarkably improve the people’s standard of living in the Arab world and Africa. Most Libyan families now own a home and a car. The public health service is free, and is one of the best in the Arab world and so is education, compulsory and widely open to women.

Hospitals and pharmacies in Libya are of international standards and any costs incurred at treatment abroad are paid for by the State.

The country has an impressive urban infrastructure that includes well-built road networks, motorways, telecommunication system, water and electricity and other key amenities.

Can you imagine this? Ghadaffi and his tribal bretheren rid the country of the despotic king and in less then 50 years, less then 50 years builds a thriving modern state for the people of Libya. And it took just a very short time for NATO sorties to destroy it all.

Muammar Gaddafi initiated a unique Libyan project, the “Great Man Made River”, that brought water from under the Sahara Desert in the south of Libya and made it available to coastal cities in the north. The Libyan dictator believed that wars will be fought over access to water throughout the Arab lands in coming years and its control could become even more decisive than petroleum reserves. Hence came his solution to tap the water reserves in various basins of the desert.
Foundation of this colossal project was laid in 1984 with an estimated cost of $5 billion. Massive machines pump water from aquifers in Sahara desert in the southern part of the country. The ‘Great Manmade River’ consists of more than 1,300 wells, most more than 500 m deep, and supplies 6,500,000 cubic metres of fresh water per day transported by reinforced concrete pipelines to the cities of Tripoli, Benghazi, Sirte and elsewhere.
The inauguration was carried out by Col. Gaddafi on 28 August, 1991. According to an Executive Intelligence Review article published in September 1991, the Libyan leader underlined the following in his speech: “After this achievement, American threats against Libya will double…The United States will make excuses, [but] the real reason is to stop this achievement, to keep the people of Libya oppressed.” Gaddafi presented the project to the cheering crowd as a gift to the Third World and called on farmers from neighbouring countries to come to Libya for agriculture.

Gaddafi knew this achievement would guarantee the US & company would show their true face to the globe.

Gaddafi : Developing Africa

The Libyan autocrat enabled Africa to experience a veritable technological revolution by financing the first African communication satellite. Gaddafi invested $300 million in this landmark project that enabled the whole of the continent to establish telephone links, transmission of television and radio stations, introduction of tele­medicine (remote diagnosis), distance learning and education and many other projects of far reaching implications. Before the satellite’s launch in December 2007, African countries paid a fortune to Europe for using their satellites.
Gaddafi also provided 15% of the budget of the African Union at the Inter­African institutional level. This really explains the reluctance of African Union to condemn Gaddafi, in contrast to the Arab League, which abhors him.

Gaddafi also extended his generosity to South Africa, Liberia, Madagascar, the countries of the Sahel and central Africa where he financed administrative buildings, hotels, restaurants, NGOs, Islamic organisations, a network of petrol distribution, (via the Libyan National Oil Company), shops, entertainment events – like the Malian Festival of the Desert – and charities.
On the other hand, Gaddafi never shied away from supporting rebel movements active in African countries. He extended his support to the Tuaregs in Mali by offering protection and finance during the repression of their movement by Malian government in the 1990’s.
The claims of mercenaries fighting for Gaddafi is hardly surprising as back in 2005, he granted a residency permit to all the Nigerian Tuaregs, Malians and other sub-Saharan Africans and provided them free housing. In 2006, Gaddafi called the tribes of the Sahara, including the Tuaregs, to form a coalition to oppose terrorism and drug trafficking.

NATO’s reign of terror

Soon after the voting on the UNSC Resolution 1973 on 19th March, NATO jets started bombarding the military positions of the Libyan army and systematically decimated anti-aircraft radars, tanks, heavy artillery and armoured carriers. Libyan navy installations were also attacked by NATO despite the fact that they were charged to impose a no-fly zone over Libya.

The Western leaders, initially calling on Gaddafi to step down in exchange for a safe passage, took a U-turn and tacitly gave approval to his assassination. NATO jets bombed one of the houses of Gaddafi family where he was present with his son, Saif Al-Arab. His son and three grandchildren died in the attack. NATO blatantly denied any war crime was committed by targeting a head of state present in a civilian compound.
NATO aircraft spared nothing they suspected of being used by pro-Gaddafi forces. Pipeline factories, communications towers, electricity pylons, water and sewerage pipelines, roads and other civilian infrastructure came under the fire of the Coalition forces on numerous occasions which is also a violation of international laws. US President Barack Obama signed an executive order that directed the killing of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and his family.

Oh, Obama the peace president…blah, blah, blah. Canada did this alongside the US, France, Israel and others
