Here are a few of the tasty but unsatisfying tidbits from the latest release.

In a 2019 email to the Cleveland office of the FBI, someone in Israel named Erez Zadok wrote that “in 2001, Mr. Epstein transferred approximately $9 million to the Wexner Foundation. During the years 2004-2006, the Wexner Foundation transferred at least 2.3 million USD to the Israeli former Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Mr. Epstein signed personally on [a] few of the transfers’ forms.”

Donors and lawyers

Email between Jeffrey Epstein and a secretary to private equity billionaire Leon Black show that, in 2014, Isaac Herzog, then head of Israel’s opposition Labor party, the former party of Ehud Barak, visited Epstein’s infamous Little Saint James island.

Today Herzog is president of Israel.

Black, also an Epstein associate, has been one of Herzog’s biggest political donors.

Epstein also wrote but never sent an undated letter to Les Wexner in an attempt to rekindle the financial partnership Wexner broke off in 2007 after sexual abuse allegations surfaced against Epstein in Florida.

“You and I had ‘gang stuff’ for over 15 years,” Epstein wrote, noting that “I owe a great debt to you, as frankly you owe to me,” adding that he had “no intention of divulging any confidence of ours.”

A 2020 FBI report states that Alan Dershowitz, the Harvard lawyer who befriended and represented Epstein, told a Confidential Human Source (CHS) that “if he were young again, he would be holding a stun gun as an Israeli Intelligence (Mossad) agent. CHS believed Dershowitz was co-opted by Mossad and subscribed to their mission. CHS still continues to communicate occasionally for Dershowitz.”

The same FBI report goes on to say that Epstein “was represented by Dershowitz. CHS remembered Dershowitz tell Alex Ocasta [sic – Acosta] (US Attorney of Southern District of Florida at the time) that Epstein belonged to both US and allied intelligence services. CHS shared phone calls between Dershowitz and Epstein during which he/she took notes. After these calls, Mossad would then call Dershowitz to debrief.”

An Epstein associate named Greg Brown, meanwhile, pitched plans to Epstein in a 2011 email for tapping into Libya’s $32.4 billion in frozen assets held in the US, alluding to the possible help of former British and Israeli intelligence officials.

A 2016 email from Hyatt Hotel billionaire and Israel investor Tom Pritzker to Epstein mentions an article in the Israeli press alleging that James Comey sabotaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign as revenge for President Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich. Comey had successfully prosecuted Rich for diverting sanctioned Iranian oil to Israel, but Israel – under Ehud Barak – reportedly wanted him pardoned because he had “done work for Mossad.”

DoJ withheld Epstein files related to Trump

The Justice Department allegedly withheld dozens of files related to Jeffrey Epstein that included an FBI investigation into claims of abuse against President Trump, according to a new report.

Trump was accused of sexually assaulting a teen girl in the 1980s, and the FBI investigated those claims and interviewed the alleged victim

“I reviewed unredacted evidence logs at the Department of Justice,” Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, said Tuesday in a statement following NPR’s report. “The DOJ appears to have illegally withheld FBI interviews with this survivor who accused President Trump of heinous crimes.”

However, one woman’s claims were investigated further.

The woman reportedly told investigators that Epstein introduced her to Trump when she was between 13 and 15 years old. She said Trump pushed her head down toward his exposed penis, which she bit, leading Trump to punch her in the head and kick her out of the room.

FBI agents interviewed the woman four times, but only one of those interviews was included in the Epstein files release, according to NPR’s investigation. Another 53 pages of interviews and notes were withheld as well.

The feds also didn’t release files relating to another woman who said Epstein introduced her to Trump while she was a teenager and told the future president, “This is a good one, huh?”

That woman’s accusations were included in discovery materials provided to lawyers for Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, during her trial in 2021. However, they were not included in the DOJ’s Epstein files release, according to NPR.

Those interviews were used during discovery for the case against Ghislaine Maxwell. She was sent to trial and convicted. Interesting they were not included in the DoJ release.

Reid Hoffman, LinkedIn co-founder 

The latest Epstein file releases feature many references to Reid Hoffman, who co-founded LinkedIn in 2002, with communications between the two showing several friendly email exchanges.

Sergey Brin, Google co-founder 

The file release also contains multiple references to Google co-founder Sergey Brin, including email communications.

One particular email chain in April 2003 showed Brin communicating with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime companion and convicted co-conspirator, regarding potential dinner plans at Epstein’s New York estate.

The exchange appeared to follow up on an earlier encounter between the two. “Dinners at Jeffrey’s are always happily casual and relaxed. Look forward to seeing you,” Maxwell wrote.  

Steven Sinofsky, ex-Microsoft executive 

More details of the relationship between Epstein and Steven Sinofsky, a former Microsoft executive who oversaw key products like Windows and Office, were revealed in the latest files.

The documents showed that Sinofsky had sought Epstein’s advice on the terms of his exit from Microsoft after leaving in 2012.

Sinofsky, who is now a board partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, then emailed Epstein in September 2013, about three months after Microsoft announced the terms of his $14 million retirement agreement, writing: “Got paid. You will be too :)”

Most of Epstein’s correspondence was with his staff, service providers and business contacts. People who worked for or with him made up a third of the top 500 names and accounted for nearly three-fifths of his messages. Chief among them were Lesley Groff, his assistant; Richard Kahn, his accountant; and Larry Visoski, his pilot. Homes in New York and Palm Beach, and his private Caribbean island, required armies of contractors and housekeepers. The rest of the emails, however, depict a remarkable network. The top 500 correspondents come from a number of different industries. Some 19% of messages were with financiers; 10% with scientists or doctors; 8% with people in media, entertainment or public relations; 7% with technologists; 6% each for lawyers, politicians, academics and other businessfolk; and 5% with property magnates. The share of contacts in finance peaked at 25% in 2014 and then fell as those in academia and law rose. Most correspondents were based in America, though Epstein kept ties with Britain, France, Germany, Nordic countries, Gulf states and even a Venezuelan oil trader.

A study from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) found that Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors — a class of anti-inflammatory drugs — can suppress a key part of the immune response, potentially allowing viruses like influenza and COVID-19 to replicate and spread more easily.

JAK inhibitors are used globally for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis and atopic dermatitis.

The researchers say these drugs block an important immune response known as Type I interferon (IFN) signalling, which helps infected cells sound the alarm to neighbouring cells, slowing viral spread and giving the body time to mount a broader defence.

In a video interview with CTVNews.ca on Monday, NTNU researcher and study co-author Denis Kaynov compared the body’s layered immune response to a race with hurdles.

“These inhibitors remove the first line of hurdles — our innate immune defences — allowing viruses to run faster,” he said. “Without that early delay, the adaptive immune system doesn’t have time to respond properly, which increases the risk that the virus spreads rapidly from cell to cell and organ to organ.”

The researchers used a range of human cell types, including lung, eye and brain cells. Kaynov says the team later moved to organoids — simplified lab-grown mini-organs — to mimic the behaviour of full organs more accurately.

While JAK inhibitors are effective in controlling chronic inflammatory conditions, Kaynov says they may leave patients vulnerable if they become infected with a virus.

“If you’re on this kind of medication and get an infection like the flu, the virus could spread much more easily in the body,” he said. “It’s important to consult your physician if you suspect an infection while taking these drugs.”

Although the research remains in early stages, one infectious diseases specialist says the findings are worth noting.

Bogoch says the broader risks of JAK inhibitors are already well known.

It’s well established that if you take these meds you are more susceptible to bacterial infections- therefore viral vulnerability is not a surprise

“They’re not like taking acetaminophen,” he said. “There’s a well-established link to higher susceptibility to infections — especially bacterial ones — so it’s not entirely surprising that viral vulnerability is also being investigated.”

Bogoch emphasized that while the research doesn’t call for immediate clinical changes, it does raise useful questions about drug safety, especially for older adults or patients with multiple health conditions.

Here’s my issue or my big question concerning these birds. Are they truly healthy birds?

If they’ve been experimented on and that appears to be the case, are they capable of spreading something into the wild bird and or animal population. I get that Ostriches are flightless. However other birds are not flightless. Ducks. Geese. Songbirds. Raptors. Varied other animals roam freely in nature. (fox, racoon, squirrels and the like)
Should any these other creatures come into contact with the Ostriches could they become vectors for some type of experimental virus and it’s spread into the wild?

BC farmers challenge government order to cull

The federal agency sent Universal Ostrich Farms Inc. a notice on Dec. 31 instructing their ostriches to be destroyed and disposed of by Feb. 1, but the owners are asking for more time to prove their farm should be spared.

They’re making the case that the flightless birds – which are part of an ongoing international research project on COVID-19 antibodies – can instead be used to study the mechanics of the avian flu that infected the youngest members of their herd.

Of their 400 ostriches, about 10 per cent have died since avian flu hit their property in Edgewood, approximately 200 kilometres east of Kelowna, said Katie Pasitney, who is the daughter of farm co-owner Karen Espersen. She said the flu spread after a flock of wild ducks landed nearby.

Espersen has been in the ostrich business since 1991. Three years ago they stopped selling meat, pivoted to conduct scientific research on the animals and founded a bioscience company to commercialize ostrich antibodies.

These animals are not being raised for their meat.

Since then the ostriches have been the subject of a research project in collaboration with Dr. Yasuhiro Tsukamoto, president of Kyoto Prefectural University in Japan, also known as Dr. Ostrich. He’s been extracting COVID-19 antibodies from ostrich eggs in B.C., building on his decades of research on the antibodies in ostrich egg yolk that can block infectious diseases.

Have the birds been intentionally infected with a strain/strains of Covid-19?

Tsukamoto said his research can be applied to avian flu.

“Currently, I have a stockpile of ostrich-derived neutralizing antibodies against H5N1 in Japan, primarily intended for use in masks. However, due to their exceptionally high neutralizing activity, these antibodies can also be applied to livestock,” Tsukamoto said in an email.

She (Esperson) said the ostriches are on a strict quarantine protocol, pose no flight risk, and live in a remote area that’s not in the vicinity of commercial poultry farms, with the closest city an hour and a half away. She said the only people who interact with the animals are the farm co-owners, and that they disinfect the ostriches’ feeding dishes, step into foot baths at every barn entrance and sanitize the truck used to feed animals, which is no longer driven into town. In a statement to The Canadian Press, the CFIA said the World Organisation for Animal Health classifies ostriches as poultry, and that “Humane depopulation and disposal is required for all poultry premises infected with highly pathogenic avian influenza.”

Yet, we have a flock of wild ducks bringing the H5N1 virus to the Ostrich flock?

On. Jan. 10, the CFIA denied the farm’s application for an exemption path which exists for select flocks that demonstrate “significant genetic value to the industry.”

Flocks that don’t meet the criteria of rare and valuable genetics are ordered to depopulate, the agency said.

Dr. Scott Weese, an infectious disease veterinarian professor at the University of Guelph, said culling is used as an “end tool” to stop potential transmission.

“And it will definitely do that. The question is, do we need to do that? Are there alternatives that can be done that can achieve the same thing?”

He said this is where there are nuances that need to be considered, such as if the spread is containable and if culling will eradicate the disease.

Tariffs are coming to fruition– BBC

President Donald Trump has ordered a 25% import tax on all steel and aluminium entering the US in a major expansion of existing trade barriers.

The tariffs, which will increase the costs of importing the metals into the US, come despite warnings of retaliation from some political leaders in Canada – America’s biggest supplier of the metals – as well as other countries.

US businesses dependent on the imports have also raised concerns, but Trump has said his plans will boost domestic production.

He warned there would be no exceptions, saying he was “simplifying” the rules, which are set to come into effect on 12 March.

I’m not sure how he’s going to boost domestic production in such a short time frame but that’s his claim.

The chief scientist brought on to lead the Trump administration’s vaccine efforts has spent the last several days trying to disentangle pieces of his stock portfolio and his intricate ties to big pharmaceutical interests, as critics point to the potential for significant conflicts of interest.

The scientist, Moncef Slaoui, is a venture capitalist and a former longtime executive at GlaxoSmithKline. Most recently, he sat on the board of Moderna, a Cambridge, Mass., biotechnology firm with a $30 billion valuation that is pursuing a coronavirus vaccine. He resigned when President Trump named him last Thursday to the new post as chief adviser for Operation Warp Speed, the federal drive for coronavirus vaccines and treatments.

Just days into his job, the extent of Dr. Slaoui’s financial interests in drug companies has begun to emerge: The value of his stock holdings in Moderna jumped nearly $2.4 million, to $12.4 million when the company released preliminary, partial data from an early phase of its candidate vaccine trial that helped send the markets soaring on Monday.

Jonathan Steele wrote that the Iraq war was over and the US had learned “that putting western boots on the ground in a foreign war, particularly in a Muslim country, is madness”. Yet this madness may continue in a different guise, as there is a huge gap between rhetoric and reality surrounding the US departure from Iraq. In fact, there are a number of avenues by which the US will be able to exert military influence in the country.

Things are moving fast in Syria because the new government in Damascus is acting with pragmatism and is stabilizing the country. (Interesting how Jerusalem Post is claiming the new government is acting with pragmatism) Recently, Damascus sent forces into Afrin in northwest Syria.

It is moving to create deals and secure the country. If it does a deal with the SDF, then the US’ role in eastern Syria might not be necessary. Trump could say it has been “mission accomplished” in eastern Syria.

There are up to 2,000 US troops in Syria. They play a role at several bases and posts east of the Euphrates.

Many things appear to be moving in the right direction. The US role in eastern Syria was to fight ISIS. Will ISIS feel it can re-emerge if the US leaves? That is a key question that will need to be answered.

We’re supposed to believe these people are Islamist terrorists? Though the Israeli press is very positive on their proxies in Syria. And why not? These fighters are western backed, bought and paid for.

The drugs, commonly known as “go-pills,” are standard issue in the U.S. Air Force to help pilots stay awake during long combat missions.

The pilots involved in the “friendly fire” incident, Maj. Harry Schmidt and Maj. William Umbach, say they were told by their superiors they could be found unfit to fly unless they took the pills.

On the night of April 17, both pilots took the pills before their mission over Afghanistan.

It was then, under the full influence of the amphetamine pills, that the two pilots spotted weapons fired near the Kandahar military base.

“OK, so I’ve got some men on a road and it looks like a piece of artillery firing at us. I am rolling in in self-defence,” Schmidt says on the tape.

“This will result in a secondary epidemic of burnouts and stress-related absenteeism in the latter half of 2020;

Currently, an estimated 2.6 billion people – one-third of the world’s population – is living under some kind of lockdown or quarantine. This is arguably the largest psychological experiment ever conducted.

In short, and perhaps unsurprisingly, people who are quarantined are very likely to develop a wide range of symptoms of psychological stress and disorder, including low mood, insomnia, stress, anxiety, anger, irritability, emotional exhaustion, depression and post-traumatic stress symptoms. Low mood and irritability specifically stand out as being very common, the study notes.

In China, these expected mental health effects are already being reported in the first research papers about the lockdown.

In cases where parents were quarantined with children, the mental health toll became even steeper. In one study, no less than 28% of quarantined parents warranted a diagnosis of “trauma-related mental health disorder”.

Among quarantined hospital staff, almost 10% reported “high depressive symptoms” up to three years after being quarantined. Another study reporting on the long-term effects of SARS quarantine among healthcare workers found a long-term risk for alcohol abuse, self-medication and long-lasting “avoidance” behaviour. This means that years after being quarantined, some hospital workers still avoid being in close contact with patients by simply not showing up for work.

Reasons for stress abound in lockdown: there is risk of infection, fear of becoming sick or of losing loved ones, as well as the prospect of financial hardship. All these, and many more, are present in this current pandemic.”

“In our most recent survey after two weeks of lockdown, the green portion has shrunk to 25% of the population. The “red” part of the population has increased by 10 percentage points to fully 25% of the population.

And we’re in the eighth week of lock down here. Justin Trudeau and Doug Ford excluded.

“These are the people at high risk for long-term absenteeism from work due to illness and burnout. Even if they stay at work, research from Eurofound reports a loss of productivity of 35% for these workers.

In general, we know at-risk groups for long-term mental health issues will be the healthcare workers who are on the frontline, young people under 30 and children, the elderly and those in precarious situations, for example, owing to mental illness, disability and poverty.

All this should surprise no one; insights on the long-term damage of disasters have been accepted in the field of trauma psychology for decades."

It’s doubtful this is a surprise. And much more likely it is desired. It’s long been known that trauma has repercussions. So trauma on a global scale will have mass repercussions.

“There’s a real recognition that the mental health impacts are going to be severe,” said Margaret Eaton.

That Ontario survey also found 42 per cent of Ontario adults reported increasing their use of substances or gambling since the pandemic began.

Given the country was already facing an opioid epidemic before the pandemic, Eaton said, that finding is “a big concern” and that there are resources for people trying to understand if their substance use has become a problem.

The media, alt and main stream, should be ashamed of their heavy handed fear mongering and their role in terrorizing the populace- That these issues would present themselves was knowable. Foreseeable.  Isolation is a huge issue. Joblessness. Family distress. Financial issues. Drug and alchohol use on the rise.
 Handling this situation in a different manner, which could have been done and should have been done would have minimized this impending tsunami of harm and destruction.

‘Cause let’s face the reality the lock downs did nothing to make the elderly or vulnerable safer.

WHO invites mpox vaccine manufacturers to submit dossiers for emergency evaluation

WHO has today issued an invitation for manufacturers of mpox vaccines to submit an Expression of Interest for Emergency Use Listing (EUL).

The WHO Director-General announced on 7 August 2024 that he had triggered the process for EUL of mpox vaccines given worrying trends in the disease’s spread. There is a serious and growing outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that has now expanded outside the country. A new viral strain, which first emerged in September 2023, has for the first time been detected outside DRC.

The EUL procedure is an emergency use authorization process, specifically developed to expedite the availability of unlicensed medical products like vaccines that are needed in public health emergency situations. This is a time-limited recommendation, based on a risk-benefit approach.

So far I don’t feel compelled to address the coronavirus or Trumps new map for peace in any substantive form. The coronavirus is garnering an excessive amount of coverage already. As for Trump’s idea of a “peace” plan, this was always going to be more pieces of Palestine for Israel’s expansionary benefit.  The very same plan is unfolding in the wider region around Israel. Trump has never hidden the fact that his primary concern was for Israel. Shrugs shoulders.

Central Bankers Hold Rates

The news that the US Fed held rates steady while committing to higher inflation is of more interest to me. Particularly when one considers that the Bank of England held their rate, which will be inflationary

As did Canada. Bank of Canada holds interest rate, but cuts growth forecasts as economy’s engine loses momentum


The EU is looking at ending negative interests rates.

Under growing pressure over record low interest rates, the European Central Bank has decided it’s time to give its unconventional policies another look.
The central bank on Thursday launched a review of its strategy, the first since 2003. The ECB is expected to spend the next year evaluating the tools it uses to maintain stable prices, including interest rates and bond purchases. It will also examine how it can take climate change into account.
“We have to look comprehensively at the effectiveness of our monetary policy,” President Christine Lagarde told reporters at a press conference in Frankfurt.
The ECB first introduced negative interest rates for the 19 countries that use the euro in 2014 in a bid to boost inflation and economic activity following the region’s debt crisis. But it has faced increased calls to put an end to a policy that’s dragged on for longer than initially expected

I’m getting the idea that the banksters are looking to increase taxation through higher inflation while the US debt is deflated away. What’s going on with these types of moves?

Is this a means of waging financial warfare against China? Thinking about the vast holdings that China has in US debt. In tandem with the coronavirus outbreak, which could wreak havoc on the Chinese economy.

China Owns How Much US Debt?

• China owns about $1.1 trillion in U.S. debt, or a bit more than the amount Japan owns.
• 5%The amount of U.S. debt that is held by Chinese entities. China took the top spot among foreign creditors at $1.123 trillion, followed by Japan, at $1.042 trillion, as of December 2018.  

How is increased inflationary pressure going to affect the consumer? In the US?  In Canada?
 In the EU? In the UK? And likely Australia, as well? What other the global implications should we consider?  This all feels very coordinated. But, why exactly? Anybody?

Fed Decision on Interest Rates

The central bank’s Federal Open Market Committee said Wednesday it will hold its benchmark funds rate in a range between 1.5% to 1.75%, where it has been since the latter part of last year.

The committee adjusted the language in its statement to reflect that policy is geared toward “inflation returning to the Committee’s symmetric 2 percent objective.”

The decision was unanimous. Several board members last year objected to the Fed’s rate cuts.

WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve held interest rates steady at its meeting this week and tweaked its post-meeting statement to reflect what appears to be a stronger commitment to nudge up inflation.Meeting market expectations, the central bank’s Federal Open Market Committee said Wednesday it will hold its benchmark funds rate between 1.5% to 1.75%, a range where it has been since the latter part of last year.
The decision marked the second straight meeting the Fed made no changes to rates following three consecutive reductions in 2019. The rate sets the standard for what banks charge each other for overnight lending but also is used as a benchmark for much consumer debt.
Little changed in the post-meeting statement, save for what could be interpreted as a bit more resolution toward raising what has been a lackluster pace of inflation. The committee adjusted the language to reflect that policy is geared toward “inflation returning to the Committee’s symmetric 2 percent objective.”
That language differed from the long-standing boilerplate statement that the Fed was looking to get inflation “near” the benchmark that it considers healthy for a growing economy.
In recent months, Fed officials have expressed concern over the inability to get inflation to the 2% level. While consumers welcome low prices, the Fed worries that low expectations will continue to keep inflation and, consequently, interest rates at below-normal levels, thus providing little flexibility to cut during future downturns.
Officials hope they can jawbone inflation higher by committing to keeping rates low until the inflation level rises. They even have indicated, through the “symmetric” terminology, that they will allow inflation to run above target for a while.
“We wanted to underscore our commitment to 2% not being a ceiling, to inflation running symmetrically around 2% and we’re not satisfied with inflation running below 2%,” Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said during his post-meeting news conference.
Powell said the change to the statement came following discussions at December’s meeting, when some members through “near” was a concession to sub-2% inflation.
Elsewhere, there were few changes in the statement.
The only other adjustment was a reduction in the characterization of consumer spending. That was cut from “strong” in December to “moderate” at this week’s two-day meeting.
While the Federal kept its benchmark rate steady, it did make an adjustment to the interest it pays on funds stored at the central bank. The Fed boosted the interest on excess reserves rate, known as IOER, 5 basis points to 1.6%.
Otherwise, though, the statement continued to see the labor market as “strong” and economic growth as “rising at a moderate rate.”
The decision was unanimous. Several board members last year objected to the Fed’s rate cuts.

In 2020 the Central Banks wanted to increase inflationary pressure in the global economy. They didn’t cut interest rates with a goal of increasing inflation. Because 2% was not the ceiling for inflation. Clearly indicating the central banks were okay with inflation being higher then 2% The “pandemic” certainly helped achieve this goal.

But, I suppose this was all just a unfortunate coincidence? Oh wait, I’m not a coincidence theorist!

Inflation as a Process of Wealth Transfer

It is better to think of inflation as a process rather than a particular rate. The process starts with a particular type of monetary system, emerges in an expansion of the money supply by central bank printing and bank loans flowing into various areas of the economy, manifests itself in prices rising generally — though unevenly — higher than they otherwise would have been, finally leaving a wake of winners and losers.

This approach allows us to see inflation as not some inevitable force, but a deliberate process of wealth transfer enshrined in state policy.

Inflation as Trickery

Yet, mainstream economists believe that some degree of rising prices is “optimal.” Thus, central banks actually try to ensure consumer prices keep going up. But their reasons for this chiefly revolve around the trickery of inflation on unsuspecting people. For example, many inflation proponents argue that the best way to lower people’s wages to restore company profits is not to actually give them a pay cut, but to rather create inflation so they won’t fully notice their real wages falling.

Inflation robbed the majority of us of our savings and reduced our buying power drastically- Since 2020, based on actions of the central banks and governments, we’ve all gotten poorer and the very wealthy have accumulated more wealth stil! I don’t believe this was unintentional.

This article is dated December 7 2020. The author is reporting that the vaccines for Covid were ‘designed’ by January 13/20. Months before the WHO characterized, without declaring, Covid-19 as a pandemic. Predating cases being identified in many locations. So interesting to think about.

Including death counts that are known to have been exaggerated or intentionally misleading in order that a certain perception is implanted in the minds of the masses. I’m going to reiterate, yet again, this is a recurring theme- the genetic sequence is likely created through gain of function research followed by the so called vaccine- See bird flu- 2011.

In Massachusetts, the Moderna vaccine design took all of one weekend. It was completed before China had even acknowledged that the disease could be transmitted from human to human, more than a week before the first confirmed coronavirus case in the United States. By the time the first American death was announced a month later, the vaccine had already been manufactured and shipped to the National Institutes of Health for the beginning of its Phase I clinical trial.                                           

Operation Warp Speed” meant running clinical trials simultaneously rather than sequentially, manufacturing the vaccine at the same time, and authorizing the vaccine under “emergency use” in December based only on preliminary data that doesn’t track the long-term durability of protection or even measure the vaccine’s effect on transmission         

Indeed, it would have been difficult in May to find a single credentialed epidemiologist, vaccine researcher, or public-health official recommending a rapid vaccine rollout

The treatment dilemmas facing physicians and patients in the early stages of a novel pandemic are, of course, not the same as the dilemma of rushing a new vaccine to a still-healthy population — we defer to the judgment of desperate patients, with physicians inclined to try to help them, but not to the desires of vaccine candidates, no matter how desperate. An unsafe vaccine, like the one for polio that killed ten and paralyzed 200 in 1955, could cause medical disaster and public-health backlash“

Looks like we have an unsafe vaccine.

An ineffective vaccine could also give false security to those receiving it, thereby helping spread the disease by providing population-scale license to irresponsible behavior

And we know we’ve got an ineffective vaccine.
