[**NewArab**](https://www.newarab.com/news/putin-witkoff-meet-russia-ukraine-war-talks)

> ***“We’ve brought some papers. It’s really some ideas, some sort of peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, and you’ll read that at your leisure,”*** Witkoff—[Trump’s](https://www.newarab.com/news/trump-says-russia-and-ukraine-agree-energy-ceasefire) business partner and envoy—told Putin in Saint Petersburg’s Konstantinovsky Palace.

**We’ve brought some papers, really some ideas, some sort of a peace deal?** **Read at your leisure.?**

**Pretty sure we’ve all seen this before.**

> Witkoff told Putin he hoped trilateral talks can resume.
>
> ***“I’m hoping that you might consider that as a next step in the peace process so we can begin to have technical teams discussing what are those next steps,”***

##### [The meeting ended](https://unn.ua/en/news/putin-and-witkoffs-meeting-has-ended-in-russia)

> **The talks in St. Petersburg have ended, and Witkoff has left the Konstantinovsky Palace.**

**Allegedly Jared Kushner attended virtually.**

**In my opinion, this is just more perception management for the western audience.**
