This peace plan back and forth is entirely for perception management purposes, IMO. There can be no real peace plan that fails to involve or recognize Russian security concerns. That doesn’t make any sense at all.
It boggles my mind that some believe and present this as if it has legitimacy- It doesn’t- But the media will all sing from the blame Russia song book!

Back some years ago, we talked here about Ukraine becoming a landlocked rump state- it was speculative but couldn’t be discounted- It’s looking more and more as if this will be the outcome.. I’m sure Hungary, Poland, Romania will happily take territory back as Russia has.

Since when did the loser on the battlefield determine the terms of a peace agreement? Do the parties that support Ukraine ever look at what Russia’s non-negotiable demands are? Maybe they don’t understand what “non-negotiable” means. Russia will continue and things will get even worse for Ukraine becoming a land-locked rump state and perhaps losing more of their land to other adjacent states.
