**We just returned home today after being away to visit family- Our fave is of course our grandson.** **`What a delight!`**

 **I keep reading all the claims about “immigrants” to Canada not wishing Merry Christmas to others- And yet, today, I was wished Merry Christmas by a new comer to Canada.** **An actual Merry Christmas!**

 **At my pharmacy the owners, who are also not Canadian born have a sign that says Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and Best Wishes for the coming New Year.**

**I had a lovely chat with some other newcomers at a highway rest stop today-**

**One question that often comes to mind? Are the people who claim to have these negative interactions with newcomers the masters of their own misfortune?**

**Tell me what you think?**

**Just something on my mind as the Christmas season approaches and the idea of Goodwill to all is pervading my thoughts on one hand!**

**While the loss of too many loved ones this year also weighs heavily on me.**

**The inability to share happiness and joy with these special people is so very heartbreaking.**
