The losing side often wants a ceasefire. How unusual. Does the Ukraine want a ceasefire because it is on the verge of total collapse? Why would Russia give Ukraine time to get more arms? Do you thing Iran is getting any military support from any other country? Russia and China cannot afford to let Iran lose. I am not a betting man, but if I was, I know which side I would bet on.
