Hi Penny:

When you are winning, why do you need a peace treaty dictated by the losing side? I think Trump learned some things in his telephone conversation with Putin. One thing I assume is that his advisors don’t tell him the truth. When the wars ends with Ukraine’s defeat, apparently Russia will enforce a 100 km DMZ where only Ukrainian farmers can go.

Thanks, Penny! Brian Berletic has been talking about this “division of labor.” It’s in policy papers from think tanks close to the Defense Department and Project 2025. In those same policy papers, they talk about putting the proxy war on hold and coming back to it at a later time. They never intended to end it.
