Still Zelensky did not sign an agreement that was widely expected to have been signed yesterday. And as of today he’s still refusing to sign.

Interesting too the spin from the media (today) is Trump wrong for his behaviour because he wants to ally himself with the “dictator” Putin.

To be honest, I did not watch the exchange. But I can guess how things went and why it went. For some reason, humiliation did not really come up to mind.

It felt more to me as that we visibly saw Zelensky doing his best, but it was beyond its control so people cut him some slack.

With other words, I felt like a pageant to me.

However I might be missing the mark entirely since like I mentioned before. Due to me not appreciating the seriousness of the situation.

My impression is Trump and Vance intentionally left the cameras rolling so the audience could witness the haranguing of Zelensky as well as Zelensky’s alleged ingratitude- in fact Trump said as much at one point in time- at about 6:30 seconds he starts saying how good he thinks this is the American people are seeing this- He wanted them to see that exchange to project power and look like a strong leader- so, yes, in many ways it was show business, but, for Zelensky it had to have been humilitating and he left without signing the deal- the deal the Americans wanted

He is not aligned with Europe, that’s bullshit. The US intentionally weakened Europe, particularly Germany (we’ve discussed this subject a few other times here)
As for being for peace? I don’t see it.
