There was actually a person on twitter who made excuses for the extensive and well documented use of child soldiers, including ones that had been kidnapped from displaced person camps- He said if I was 16, I’d fight for the cause (true believer)- Problem, the kids the PKK use are even younger. There’s a big debate about Ukrainians fighting at 18 but somehow the indoctrinated crowd think it’s okay for Kurds to use children to fight- It’s not.
Here’s the other thing, the hypocrisy, if some African warlord forced kids into fighting, these same people would be up in arms- but Kurds, that’s okay.
That all said, what kind of adults and society will the brutalized, traumatized children create?

I think they were actually tearing down an Ocalan statue. So much misinfo being spread about this region and its people and so many useful idiots joining these movements and parroting the lies of the Kurdish freedom movement and their rights for all.

I’ve seen video on line, not of the Ocalan posters being torn down, but, of the protests by Arabs, who were than fired upon with live ammo by the PKK/YPG
