Hi Mark
I get the idea of having a moral obligation/honour.
If a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon could be gotten, it would be a very big honour- not that I think that will happen either- but, from a moral perspective it would be good for Iran.

I hadn’t thought of Israel and the US taking their shots tonight- but, entirely possible- with the possibility or perhaps inevitably of a contested election, the perfect distraction will be provided.
Which could serve the ever present apparatus embedded in the empire. Including, possibly, negating the need for the election- Like Zelensky in Ukraine. Just martial law and the extension of rule by tyranny-

So many possibilities to consider. None of them good.

However they do have internal morale and “Honour” to defend however childlike that may sound to us.
Tomorrow night around 10pm our time might be a distraction time when a lot of US and Israeli radar screen watchers might be more interested in their phones and the great american performative extravaganza. Constant prolonged vigilance is taxing and declines in effectiveness.
