Providing Ukraine with the means to set that eventuality in motion is itself the greatest threat to “global security”, For some reason the “gift” of 10,500 9mm handguns seems particularly odious. The same 9mm killers that the US arms manufacturers have poisoned our cities with for years, arming gangs, creating violence to the detriment of our quality of life. The handgun in modern warfare is the equivalent of the bayonet for hand to hand combat up close and personal. Those handguns will go to ‘police’, recruiters and vigilantes imposing martial law. Eventually they will trickle down and be used in the coup d’etat that will bring down the regime and end the blood bath.
