Yes, I’ve noticed the news of arrests in Russia. Looks like a house cleaning, generally speaking.

As for the gleeful chortling? I love the image that presents because it’s so accurate. As the NATO nations plundered Libya they are attempting to do repeat the profiteering with Russian assets. But Russia is not Libya!

How much of that pot of gold will filter down to the front line Ukrainian Army?

Meanwhile due to sanctions the Russian economy is fully mobilized, more self sufficient and the nation more self reliant. Their “foreign assets” are mostly from the old oligarch class and they were mostly globalists and not Russian nationalists. Putin’s recent corruption arrests might make it more difficult for the Russian fiscal pirates to swoop down on the booty, leaving more for ‘legitimate’ State use.
