**Armenia had long been considered a stalwart ally of Russia. Some people still like to believe they are. Except that hasn’t been true for some time now. I’ve touched on this topic at my censored site and here.**

**This belief was why many played up/promoted out of date ideas or tropes regarding Azerbaijan during the NK conflict. Failing to understand or accept Nagorno Karabakh was always internationally recognized Azeri territory**. **Or that Russia and Armenia have not been allied in the same manner they’d been previously.**
