Germany being subordinated since it was NOT as fully subservient as the US would have liked.
Notice that Poland’s leadership in 2010 was willing to make energy deals with Russia in the same way that Germany eventually did.
That type of dealing was ‘nipped in the bud’ very quickly once the Polish government went down in an airplane crash. conveniently
