Humans are at a disadvantage to all other species when it comes to nutrition. The human species is so stupid that it can’t learn from how other species select their nutrition by watching them and understanding why they make their choices. A fellow I knew once said that if you want to eat wild blueberries, eat the ones the bears select.
If humans could do what all other species can do, there would be no modern agriculture which is based on quantity, not nutritional value.
The result of modern agriculture is called chemotherapy.

we’re on the same page with that- have you noticed this is the alleged solution offered up by those in power?
All the time- factory farming in greenhouses- layer upon layer of crop..

I agree. But I lean stronger towards honesty than true. They should be similar in the meaning, but somehow honesty feels different than true.

There is something I do need to add though. Something which I think is taken for granted.

You can only reach that which you are aware of or know. Things you don’t know, you can’t reach. If for some reason you stop pursuing to know more, than you can’t escape where you are.

I am just throwing the following sentence in there.
– Knowing opens the path to Freedom. Ignorance keeps you in peace.

Some people don’t know their self, so they end up being someone else that is incompatible with their own inner self. It’s an internal struggle that ends often in depression

I’m going to agree with that! Having personally helped someone through an episode of depression. Much of that soul searching takes place.

I’ve been somewhat spotty the last little bit, too much personal stuff.
But, fortunately my hubby has always helped me with sourcing info. I think (IMO) I’ve learned to source material and discern after all these years

You are taking depression too lightly. Depression is best ascribed as a monster you will keep eating you until nothing of you is left.

Whether depression like you say is a good trigger for evaluation is hard to say. I want to say that I think that shame is a better trigger than depression. In the end it depends on how people react to the trigger of “shame”, “depression”, etc.

Currently people don’t really have what I would say A good anchor(Immoveable set of norms and values). And thus when a certain trigger moves them away from a certain a mental space, they don’t have a way back.

This is why I think that depression is just the result of people who lost themselves and are now in this mental state; which everyone is handling differently. Some are ignoring it by investing themselves into idols, party’s, drinking what have you. Then you a group are numbing down their emotions, just becoming drones to go trough life. Or you get the Yolo type which are doing things because they don’t care. But the most terrifying ones in my opinion are those who stop seeing their fellow humans as humans. And have convinced themselves that when they are killing their fellow humans, they are not killing their equals. But killing something less then them, like a bug or pest.

That is the power of depression.

In my opinion the reason for this massive case of depression is because of people ignoring the feelings of other people and sacrificing them for the “GREATER GOOD”. (Yes there is more to this, this is just scratching the surface, because its a complicated matter that it is this complicated)
