Declining soil fertility is the number one environmental issue.
Laboratory experiments done on malnourished rats fail to take into account that it’s not the overpowering invader we must fear but the weakened condition of the victim. In both agriculture and medicine, the concentration is on the overpowering invader while ignoring how the victim came into a weakened condition. That’s where the money is.
No one seems interested in the fact that when minerals required in soil to produce proteins are deficient, symptoms we call “disease” occur in plants, animals and humans.
