I can tell you here in Niagara it’s frigid. And now we’ve got a big storm heading our way- It will be the first of the winter, really.
If it hits as hard as they are forecasting we’ll have one heck of a lot of shoveling to do.
The cold is something else entirely. It’s been way, way, way colder here then is usual (between the great lakes)

We’ll see what happens with electricity etc once this storm hits us sometime tonight and into tomorrow?

I was thinking about climate modeling this morning as I look out at my yard for the 12″ of snow they predicted for several days (causing me and others to buy up stocks in grocery stores, I’m sure aiding in a dying bottom line) and all I saw was some measly water. Makes me wonder if the usually unneeded snow shovels flew off the shelves?

To top it off, I also received a warning from my ISP about the coming storm and to expect power outages (internet outages).
